Good communication and hassle free

We used Direction Law for conveyancing- they were always incredibly prompt in responding to e-mails and phone calls, patient in listening to concerns and clear about options in language that could be easily understood.

We had a very mixed experience using Direction Law. Initially, the process of purchasing our property started smoothly, with all aspects begining quickly and information was provided to us in a timely manner. However, our assigned solicitor quickly became very difficult to communicate with before one day when emailed a form back, I received an automated response informing me they had gone on annual leave for 2 weeks. After calling the office 3 times to inquire who was handling my case in the meantime, I was eventually given a name of a new solicitor who I could not seem to get in touch with. After over a week lacking in communication, I was contacted by a third solicitor who took over my case and was exceptional in keeping us in the loop and handling any queries. We also experienced problems with our financial records checks. After being given an app to upload statements to, we were asked to then email many of the documents again with no plausible explanation as to where the documents uploaded to the app were. We will need to use a conveyance solicitor again soon to continue our staircase process of purchasing our property but I would be reluctant to use Direction Law again.
