The team at direction law were amazing at pushing things along in a timely and efficient manner. They made the process of purchasing a house quite painless for the most part. However, I'm giving three stars because they made a very costly mistake which was discovered a couple of days before completion. This subsequently left me out of pocket.

At the start of our contract it was agreed on the quote that I was provided by direction law and I was happy to go ahead with it I paid a initial fee which brought the quote down even more . However at the end of the contract moving to completion due to poor communication due not notifying me of the increase in pricing, the initial quote that was given to me at the start of the contract a year ago was now increased by 800 pounds . I believe a law firm should acknowledge that your clients are not solicitors and need to inform them of any increase of pricing and not just stipulate it was in the contract This is why we pay you a fee to ensure that as normal people we are given the terminologies in layman's terms you cannot expect people to understand what's written in a contract in a legal manner as well as not upholding your quote fee on a shared ownership contract you held me hostage and what I mean is that if I was not to pay your fees you would not allow me to complete this is unethical because I had to pay rent and service charge to the housing by you but if I was not to pay your legal fees and I wanted to dispute it I was not able to complete and which of course would of course me more increases in the amount I have to pay to the housing and prolong my completion I believe this is unethical I believe that this does not fulfil your indicative behaviour (SRA book) and I hope that you understand this has caused a happy day to be a stressful day I do not recommend anyone to use direction law

Slow start & there were a few hold ups & delays at the start but all in all Lyndsey Bailey & Michelle Atkins were great! Always kept in touch & gave me regular updates.

I couldn’t fault my experience with Direction Law. My initial enquiry was handled with speed and efficiency.
