Bad experience, as for my case handler he did not understand shared ownership at all and tried to tell me not to worry about staircasing.!! After reading reviews on glassdoor as well it seems they dont even train staff. a conveyancing mill. Dont bother with non existant client services email, they dont reply, just like directors who ignore your complaints and say they will return your call and dont.

Excellent service

This is a terrible law firm and I strongly suggest you avoid using them for their services. My mortgage offer was approved in July 2021 and shortly after I hired them to handle the buying process for a share to buy scheme. Once they received my deposit they would ignore my attempts of contact or I would receive pathetic emails brushing me off that they are working on my case and awaiting on hearing from the sellers but it was all a lie because the seller would reach out to me and mention they had contacted Direction Law a multitude of times and they hadn't replied. This then went on for months, then I was told my allocated solicitor had left their firm but they hadn't reassigned me a new solicitor and when they did he would also ignore my attempts of contact. After finally receiving an update on my case important documents were littered with spelling errors or details were not filled in correctly. My deed transfer form was still submitted with my name spelled incorrectly. I have complained about the services received and it hasn't improved. The purchase of a property on average takes 3 months. Direction Law have taken double the time and my completion is on the day my mortgage offer expires and because of their incompetence I have incurred an additional fee from my mortgage offer to rush the payment through which wouldn't have been necessary if they were good at their job! I am extremely angry with this firm and the stress they have caused me. I strongly recommend that no one uses their services.

Was a struggle to get a completion date through these guys & was only given about a weeks notice which didn’t help us. Contact was good.
