It turned out that it's a good team there; very clearly and timely gave instructions to at different stages; they focused on the job, and very efficient. I'd recommend them. - I was a worried by some previous reviews but I'm so glad that I used their service. No delays and always responded to my messages with clear answers.

As first time buyers, buying a home was a daunting process but Direction Law understood the process from start to finish. We were appointed DL by the developers of our new build property and they were great! The process was so smooth and we were always informed through every step. As a result, we completed with ease and moved into our new home on time!

They don't even deserve 1 star!!! I have finally just completed on my house sale today. I sold in August and there was no chain. It is now February. the communication from DL has been non existent. it was ages until I found out that my solicitors assistant had left and no-one had told me. It was a shared ownership sale and I can only think that they feel that doesn't warrant decent service. I honestly thought I'd have a mental breakdown through it all as literally no-one would answer emails or phone calls and |I felt I was hitting my head against a brick wall. I was told it should have taken 8-12 weeks...about 26 weeks it took!! Thankfully my housing association did get answers from them and were able to keep me in the loop. I even emailed a complaint to the email address they often quote in their other complaints.... boy there's a lot!!! and I didn't even get a reply!! my housing association no longer recommends Direction Law due to all the problems they have experienced. I just hope and pray that people are reading this review BEFORE they instruct them!!!

They have been overall efficient, however, communication was very poor, they required a lot of reminders from my end and a lot of chasing. The verification process format is next to being ridiculous...

Very good service and quick response would recommend them to family and friends if they are in need of a solicitor

I had been recommended Direction Law and really wish I hadn’t used them. I was assigned 4 different solicitors throughout my property purchase process which wasn’t helpful for a first time buyer not really knowing what to expect. I felt like any question I asked my solicitor I was in fact bothering them. I was never kept up to date with any progress and at one point she was waiting for my signed response to something. I thought I had done this so instead of contacting me to chase it, she did nothing. I had an issue with my property postcode throughout my purchase & when I queried it I was told my deeds and I was incorrect. It turns out myself and my deeds was infact correct and my solicitor had been refusing documents as she had a different postcode (incorrect one). I would highly NOT recommend this company if you are looking for a straight forward helpful solicitor as my experience was anything but.
