Service from RVO extremely good. Not been able to use the Synscan wifi adapter in anger yet, so not able to comment on that.

As a bewildered but eager newbie to stargazing, I was daunted by the masses of information about how to get started, then Rother Valley Optics guides and extremely helpful staff gave me the answers I needed to feel confident in what I was doing. No question was too stupid and responses were extremely quick. I purchased a scope and the recommended accessories from them, thanks to their keen and professional service and advice. All set up, waiting for the clouds to clear, well it is the West of Scotland, so it may take some time. Well done Rother Valley Optics, I fully and unreservedly recommend them.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and the whole service is extremely efficient. On a number of occasions I have placed an order at lunchtime and the item in question is fixed to my telescope the next morning and I live some 180 miles or so from Rotherham. Amazing service.

I spent the last week or so searching the web for a new telescope.Most places offered similar collections and prices were not significantly different.Something about Rother Valley Optic's site kept drawing me back there.I think it was the presentation of their selection and an air of dependability about the company.I felt this was a company which would not let me down.I placed my order for a Skywatcher 150P with tripod and mount on Monday August 30th for next day delivery.This was almost as good as visiting my local store,if only there was one.Shipment was confirmed later on Monday for next day delivery.Next day arrived and about noon we received a text from the delivery driver saying he expected to deliver between 2.40pm and 3.40 pm.He arrived at 2.45pm with 2 packages in tip top condition.The contents of each were exactly as ordered and undamaged in any way.Assembly was straightforward with an occasional look at the instructions for assistance. The mount worked as expected,as smooth as silk,but cloudy skies prevented use of the telescope until clear skies the following night produced the best views I'd ever had of Jupiter. Full marks to Rother Valley Optics,I'll deal with them again without hesitation,and remember to cash in my loyalty points against my next purchase.
