Recently I took delivery from Rother Valley Optics of a Skywatcher 127 goto. The product was out of stock for some time through no fault of RVO but I was updated regularly by email or a phone call from Adam or another member of staff as to what was happening and all this they were able to do while on lockdown and working from home. I am now a retired gentleman after spending 45 years as a customer services manager so I get great delight in saying to Adam and the staff a big Thank you and well done and for the after sales service in setting up after I received my new product.

Shop seems very small, more like an estate agents? Three desks, surrounded by a few glass cabinets and a selection of about 6 telescopes in the window. On arrival I wasn’t allowed in due to COVID I think? Online there seems to be quite a selection of product, but I only got as far as the front door? Not very welcoming when your spending? This is a online business so I suppose buy online I wouldn’t be making another journey here, shame

Service was 1st class ordered one day recieved the next and the person i spoke to on the phone was very helpful will be using this company again, and item ordered was good value.

Wanted to buy a particular Dobsonian telescope and found this companies website which had one listed. A quick stock check with them (a dedicated link on their website), confirmed they had one in stock. I had looked at other similar websites and no-one had one in stock apart from Rother. I ordered it immediately and received almost instant confirmation of my order with them. They confirmed delivery within 48 hours of my order via DPD and this was exactly what happened. Scope was well packed and in good condition. Couldn't have been any better.
