In my online search Rother offered the best price and free delivery. The telescope arrived safely 2 days after order, was easy to set up, and on the first clear night offered great views. I'll probably upgrade the eyepieces, but the scope and mount are excellent for the price.

Shopping at Rotherham Valley Optics was an excellent experience. Although I ordered online and used their collection service, as I live locally, I made several phone calls to check the availability of the product I wanted. The communication with the company was excellent, keeping me abreast of when my product would be ready for collection and always polite and courteous. Excellent service, and it doesn't matter if you are spending £5,000 or £50 you get great service. I have used RVO several times and also most time sent a few emails to ask questions about the items I am wanting and always had very prompt replies. I once had to return an item that was not damaged it just didn't fit my requirements, so no fault of RVO and I received a full refund on return without hassle.

Got in contact initially to ask for some advice as I’ve not done astronomy for a while, was very impressed when I got a response within 15 minutes with useful advice. Subsequent contact has also been very quick. I went ahead and ordered a few products which were dispatched the same day and arrived the next via DPD. Unfortunately, I didn’t get on with one the the items but was very easy to return for a refund. Answer emails very quickly, dispatch and deliver quickly, easy returns - definitely recommend RVO!

Ordered the Sega Flux home planetarium last Wednesday and it's just arrived after 7 days. Securely packed and, even with the postage costs, saved me a few £s over Amazon prices. I had to chase via email, but RVO do answer emails very promptly. Would use them again.
