The team worked really hard, we were out of our old property by 9:30am on moving day. We were in and unloaded by 3:30pm. That included 75 pot plants. They were very good to work with.

We were really impressed with the whole team at Stephens - Steve, the professional and friendly guy who came to give the quote and also gave very useful packing advice : Marion and Emma in the office who helped us to secure our preferred dates at an extremely busy time, gave help for obtaining the right amount of packing materials and kept a good eye on us, checking the day before moving day that we were all on track: Dean Lee and Will who were the team packing our breakables, disassembling beds etc and loading the vehicle (our neighbour commented how smart and fit they looked). They were very helpful and cheerful throughout the day, working hard to fill the van in some large 3D Tetris game: And Dean and Ryan, who had the hardest task, after a long drive, of transferring and reassembling all our belongings from the van into our new four-storey home. Despite working until 8pm they remained cheerful and energetic throughout. (Perhaps a team of three would have been better?) We have no hesitation in recommending the firm - by far the best removal team of our experience. (And interestingly also recommended by a competing firm who were not able to offer our dates). We were moving from a 5 bedroom house in Bedfordshire and all our belongings were going into storage. It was a 2 day job with 5 man days in total. Everything went to plan. The removal team were very experienced and helpful. I can’t thank them enough for their 100% effort. Moving house after 20 years is difficult on many levels but Stephens made it manageable.

I would highly recommend Stephens. We had a fantastic time with them and they were so helpful - even giving us advice on where the furniture could go in the new place. 100% will use again when I have to move.
