Stephen's make moving easy

Stephen's made to whole process so unstressful from start to finish. Even down to collecting many of the boxes after I'd unpacked a couple of weeks after my move. I will certainly recommend them to others.

Nothing too much trouble! highly recommend

So impressed with the 3 guys that moved my elderly grandmother this week. They were so efficient, hardworking, friendly and so helpful. They really went above and beyond to make it a smooth move. Jake, Mark & Bob thank you for all your hard work. Great team :-)

Very happy with service from Stephens…

Very happy with service from Stephens from first contact through to unloading. Quote was clear, all queries efficiently responded to. Moving crew were professional, hard working, polite, careful and humorous (cracking jokes to ease tension). Move from Hertfordshire to Devon made efficiently, crew helped sort logistics and kept in touch en route. All items unloaded efficiently into relevant rooms. No hesitation in recommending Stephens Removals.

Absolutely shocking customer service loses them job

Absolutely shocking treatment of my mother-in-law today by this rude company. They were chosen to help with her move, a stressful time for anyone. Chosen due to their statement that they can hold a provisional booking whilst contracts are set to be exchanged they would “endeavour to hold for you free of charge” until the booking is confirmed. Due to the buyer delaying in exchanging and by no fault of my mother-in-law whatsoever she receives a call today from a lady at Stephens Removals telling her that it’s “your job to chase it up!”. Then she pressured her into having to call back at midday to confirm a date. This date was not going to be confirmed today by any means. My mother-in-law in shock called back to complain only to be met with an immediate “she wasn’t rude to you!” statement from a colleague clearly in the same office space. Then as she tried to explain the situation and her position the lady at the end said “look do you want to cancel this booking”. And upset as she was by this she said yes and hung up. Subsequently her daughter called in a little later asking to speak a manager to complain further and was told there isn’t one available. This arrogance and attitude from this team at the end of the phone and the significant pressure they were putting on my mother-in-law in a stressful scenario as a house move I think is contemptible.
