Pleased with the albums
For novices on Photobox, the website was easy to navigate. Once my wife and I had completed the first album, subsequent albums proved much easier as we had progressed up the 'learning curve', using numerous functions of the website. We even found a way to translate English into German for our German friend, to add texts alongside photos. We were very pleased with the quality of the album and delivery was ahead of estimated date.

Canvas pictures
Original canvases were wavy and were replaced promptly. I was delighted with this service, however the replacements had been creased which became obvious when hung on the wall. The faults probably not noticed when the canvases were dispatched. I didn't like to complain again so I'm living with them as they are. The problem is in my opinion that the canvas was too thin and stiff. Quality control could do with a bit of attention. The picture quality was lovely.

Wont uphold their advertised guarantee
Update - it’s now mid March. Photobox will not address my complaint! So much for their satisfaction guarantee. Wont even reprint the worst of what I received. I sent proof of the difference in colour and they STILL DO NOTHING! One for Trading Standards or who else I can find to complain to! Original post… WHY ARE THE COLOURS SO DARK? I’ve used Photobox many times and always got excellent results. I’ve many photo books, photo blocks and have over 20 canvasses on my wall. All from them. But the last time I did use them and get great results was years ago. What’s happened to the quality? Do they rush the order and send them out so fast there’s no quality control. My pictures are soooo DARK. Nothing like the original photo nor like the colours of the actual items in the photos. They are so bad I wouldn’t display them. I spent what is a lot of money to me on my order. Greatly disappointed, very annoyed and out of pocket! I chose photos I really wanted to display. I can’t display these because quite frankly you can’t see the details in the photos because of the colours. The rest of my order is on its way. Can’t wait to receive it - not! The same thing happened with my last order. I’m sooo stupid to give them the benefit of the doubt and use them again. Going to have to get them printed again somewhere else! SAYS SATISFACTION GUARANTEED ONLINE. THEYVE COMPLEYELY IGNORED MY COMPLAINT. I SENT THEM SCREEN SHOTS OF WHAT I EXPECTED AND WHAT THEY SENT. Expected them to reprint them. Just IGNORED! I’ve wasted over £100. DO NOT USE PHOTOBOX. I won’t be. Wont even correct the issue - as of 21/02/25.

Beautiful Azores photobook
The 100-page photobook that I created is beautiful. It took a little while to get used to using the new App to create the book (which I did from scratch), but the result is excellent. Glad I went for the glossy pages, and the colours have come out accurately. I was even able to copy the text from the diary I'd kept, which saved me printing it out and slotting it in later.

Products arrive late
The product was labelled as being delivered by 14 Feb (my daughter's 18th birthday) but was not handed to Royal Mail in time. This was very disappointing as I chose Photobox and the particular product because I needed it for a specific date.
