1-800Accountant 260 Madison Ave #1001, New York, NY 10016 Tax preparation service Zero stars is not a choice. Like others all I get is a runaround. Hired them the end of 2023. Asked about also paying for the following year. I adamantly said no. Only concerned with catching up. Taxes done incorrectly. Rejected for social security number was not used rather my husband's phone number. Did not think about them ever again. They signed me up for a subscription. I never approved. I originally said no on a "recorded line." Audio and transcript missing to there advantage from original call. Fast forward to a year later. They charged my cc and was denied as fraud. Then they used a credit card not on file for billing. My checking account they only had access for bookkeeping. They fraudulently used a card they had no permission to use. Access doesn't allow permission. They did nothing for 2023 tax year. No communication. No extensions. Nothing. But ok to bill me for a year they did nothing for me in November of 2024. I had my younger brother at my home dying of cancer on hospice. If I didn't give permission for the tax year 2023 or permission for a subscription or permission to use my bank account why would I have a need to monitor my account for charges when I didn't have a subscription. I didn't have any communication with them for months and that was for 2022 not 2023. I didn't approve the account they used. Account was not listed for billing. Only given for bookkeeping purposes. I have tried long enough to handle this with them. Susan Guam answers the phone but doesn't give a monitored voicemail for her manager and gives excuses why he cannot get on the phone. Called multiple times and messages until another rep put the Mgr Mike Richmond on the phone. Took over 2 weeks to get him on the phone. When I did with no surprise he had to check with his Mgr. I would get a call the latest on Friday. It's now Thursday over a week later. Claim is in the banks hands at the moment for fraud. This post going up. BBB and lawyer is next. No services were rendered and they used an unauthorized account for billing. Don't worry I will be calling weekly and will speak to every person in that office until they know my name. Reviews on every platform I can find and will never recommend them and will make sure there name is known as a company Never to use. Don't worry I'm sure you'll respond that you will investigate. I need more proof of your negligence so please do. I have the proof from IRS that even the year I originally hired them for isn't showing filed. If services are not rendered and you stole my bank info, that's a crime, and I will press charges to the full extent of the law.

Do not use this company they do not fulfill what they say. They will do. I have used them and regret every minute. I am now using QuickBooks and 100% better and you can cancel at any time this company all they do is want your money and after the 30 days you’re screwed
