STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. What an absolutely waste of my money as a small business owner. TERRIBLE communication. They bounced me around different people who didn't know my details. Leaving me feeling like I was constantly starting over. They would make me wait weeks to set up calls with my accountants, then canceled last second on me multiple times, with no calls for reschedule dates. They DO NOT care about saving you or your business money on taxes. It was all very generic. These folks are here to get paid and move on to the next account. On top of this it was overpriced, I paid them a full year (thousands) up front for NOTHING. Highly recommend not using this company and get yourself a real/local accountant in your area you can have in person meetings with and build a real professional relationship with.

The process seems slower than previous…

The process seems slower than previous years. I submitted my business tax information and in previous years, it was completed for my review within days and this year it seems it has been weeks. Even though I provided all information, status remained in waiting for information even though I followed up several times to ensure the preparer had everything they needed.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Sales, Oversold: - I was told that this was a full service package, I could have an appointment with someone every month to review my bookkeeping, I can never get ahold of my accountants and online it only allows me to book about a month in advance. - I was told that the "tech team" could definitely connect my small bank to their software. The second I spoke with my accountant she said she has had experience with this bank before and they could not get it integrated. It took me 4 days to manually enter all of my transactions for that account. Accountant and Team, Incompitent: - I put my home office use in my portal. The account executive or lower person on the account told me the way I did this was illegal but I don't know anything about how to apply my home office as a business expense, so I asked how to make it legal. She said it wasn't her job, I should contact my accountant. - Furniture is a huge expense in my business (short term rentals) and they are incorreclty telling me I cannot include this in my start up costs (this is a 15k mistake). - I have been transferred to so many people I can't count and have no idea who is actually in charge of what on my account, this is both bad business practice as it's difficult customers to transition from person to person and it also does not make me feel like my financial information is secure. Technology: - my chase credit card won't even sync - my small bank card won't sync - accountants aren't trained on tech, don't know where milage logs are etc. Customer Service: - I have been calling the 1-800 number to try to move my 2023 taxes along and can't accomplish anything. They made 2 appointments for me which were "no-showed" by the accountant. They submitted a tech ticket which has never been resolved. I asked for a refund and that ticket got closed without even being considered. Not the $3,264 service I paid for. I could have done my taxes myself by now. They also have on their website they are acredited by the BBB and they are not.
