Affordable white glove service

1) Amazing help building our itinerary from start to finish - Eli was wonderfully helpful and very responsive. We customized our itinerary (we wanted to fit a lot into a short trip!) and changed a few things around, and she was always on top of it and gave us advice along the way. We were delighted when she met us with a driver upon arrival in Lima along with welcome gifts and answers to our many questions. Even when we had questions during our trip, Eli was there. Eli, thank you so much! 2) We may have had the best tour guides in all of Peru! Gustavo in Lima, Fabricio in Cusco, Manuel in Machu Picchu, and Juan Carlos for Rainbow Mountain. These guides truly know what they are doing and have so much passion for it. Each guide took us away from large groups to show us the best spots and always made us feel safe and comfortable. We learned so much from them and thank them for showing us their beautiful country! And a special shoutout to all of our drivers who expertly navigated the chaotic traffic and roads to get us around safely. We are so grateful!

Great Experience in Peru with Inca Expert Travel

I traveled to Peru in early April and had an amazing experience. I spoke to several agencies, but Debbie Sutcliffe at Inca Expert Travel was the only one I found that was willing to work with me on a schedule that would accommodate all the places I was interested in visiting. Debbie is very laid back and easy to work with! Prior to my departure, I received a detailed email from Debbie with information about each place I was visiting and very useful tips about what to bring, money exchange, tipping guidelines etc. In addition, I had access to a portal with a detailed itinerary including instructions for navigating the airports and what to expect. From the moment I landed in Lima, I felt perfectly comfortable with airport procedures and getting on my flight to Cusco. On arrival in Cusco, I was met by representatives from Inca Expert travel as well as my guide and driver for the next couple of days. My guide, Ivan, was simply put terrific! He is a very knowledgeable and genuine individual who took great care to show and share every detail about the sites in Sacred Valley. He made my two days at Sacred Valley a special, fun and memorable experience. Beyond the sites, he took the time to take me to try local empanadas, a silver shop to get gifts for family and dropped me off at an amazing restaurant where he made sure the server would show me how to get back to the hotel. The hotel, Tambo del Inka, is amazing with beautiful grounds, spacious rooms and very accommodating staff. They even packed me a to go breakfast/snack bag to take on my trek to Machu Picchu. I was promptly picked up on my departure day from Sacred Valley by my guide and I did not have to worry about anything! My guide had my train ticket to the trek site, bus tickets to and from Machu Picchu from the town of Aguas Calientes and the Inkaterra Hotel was awaiting my arrival with dinner included. The Inkaterra Hotel is absolutely stunning with beautiful grounds, very nice rooms and amazing staff. Upon my return to Cusco via train, a driver was waiting to take me into the city and to my hotel. The next day I was promptly picked up for my planned activity with Peru Shamans. This was a truly great experience where I learned about the different local plants and medicinal uses and participated in a shaman ceremony. The guide and shaman are very kind and knowledgeable! Upon my return, my hotel was perfectly located across from the Sun Temple and a short walk from the central plaza. This allowed me to take advantage of my afternoon in Cusco. The Palacio del Inka is an incredible hotel with unique history and art, beautiful rooms, food that is out of this world and very kind staff. On departure from Cusco, I was promptly picked up by a driver and taken to the airport for my flight to Puerto Maldonado/Amazon. The flight was booked for me, and it was a smooth experience. On arrival, guides were waiting to take me to the port to catch the boat the Inkaterra Amazonica Lodge. The Inkaterra Lodge is a breathtaking location with lots of walking trails, fun activities and beautiful cabins. All my meals were included, and they have a delicious and well-rounded menu you can choose from! All the staff are fully committed to ensuring guests had nothing short of an amazing experience! The guides and restaurant staff are knowledgeable, genuine, fun and kind, and made this an unforgettable experience. On my departure day, I was taken to the airport where once again my flight had been booked for me and it was a smooth experience. On arrival at Lima, I was picked up by my driver and taken to the Historic Lima Center where a guide was waiting for me. We did a city tour of the historic center sites and enjoyed some local music on the plaza. The guide was very knowledgeable and kind, and flexible to allow for time to just enjoy the buzzling plaza life on a Friday while ensuring I would arrive back to the airport on time. He coordinated directly with the driver for my return to the airport. The drivers are all very kind, fun and talkative, and made the sometimes long drives a great experience. This was especially true for the driver from the Lima Historic Center to the airport on very busy roads Friday late afternoon! I give Inca Expert travel a solid 10! Everything was perfectly planned while allowing for the flexibility I was looking for in my itinerary. They also worked with me so that I could use my Marriott points for booking the hotels in Sacred Valley and Cusco. My future travels to Peru or any other locations that Inca Expert Travel serves will certainly be booked with them!

Maria Jose Casteneda from Inca Experts…

Maria Jose Casteneda from Inca Experts was the absolute best! There are many complications to a visit to Peru, that I had not realized. She ensured we stayed in lovely, SAFE, accomodations. Maria also ensured our travel arrangements happened in a timely fashion with lovely guides. What was most amazing, is that she accomodated the plans we already made into the agenda, so it blended seemlessly. DONT go to PERU, without hiring Inca Experts, Maria, in particular. They will ensure you have the trip of your lifetime!

April trip to Peru

We arrived in Lima on April 24th for an 8 day trip organized by Grecia at Inca Expert travel. We were greeted at the airport by Diana who took us to our hotel and went over our itinerary for the next day. April 25th we boarded our flight to Cusco where we were met by Stephanie and her driver. They took us to our hotel, Casa Andina Premium Cusco. Stephanie explained our itinerary and told us we would be picked up by Chris, our guide and Juan Carlos, our driver, the following morning. April 26th Chris arrived promptly and went over our itinerary for the day. We visited the salt pools in Maras, the Moray Archaeological Complex, and Ollantaytambo before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes. When we arrived in Aguas Calientes we were met by Manuel, who would be our guide for Machu Picchu. He took us to our hotel and told us he would be back the next morning at 10:00, when we would catch the bus to Machu Picchu. The reason we picked April 27th to visit Machu Picchu was it was my 75th birthday. Machu Picchu had been on my bucket list for many years. We had actually planned a trip in 2020, but it was cancelled due to Covid. Words cannot describe the feeling when you first see Machu Picchu. We spent about 3 hours there. A special thanks for Manuel, our guide. He carried my wife’s backpack and helped her navigate the stairs when necessary. She has had 2 knee replacements and wasn’t sure she would be able to see everything, but with Manuel’s help, she had no problems. When we were finished at Machu Picchu we boarded the bus back to Aguas Calientes. When we arrived back in town, Manuel insisted that we go with him to the Full House, a restaurant on the river. As it turns out, he had a little surprise for us, an impromptu birthday celebration. After we finished eating we went to the train station. Manuel had arranged for our luggage to be brought to the train station. We took the train back to Ollantaytambo and were greeted by our driver, Walter. He took us back to our hotel in Cusco. April 28th, Chris and Juan Carlos picked us up and the first place we visited was a local market. I always like to see the local markets when we travel. I don’t remember the name, but it wasn’t the famous one, San Pedro Central Market. I think we were the only tourists there, but everyone was very friendly and Chris explained some the fruits that were native to Peru. Next we went to Saqsaywaman, another Archaeological site in Cusco. It was another masterful example of Inca stone work. Next we visited Camelidos del Tawantinsuyo. A cooperative where they had Llamas, Alpacas and Vicuña. There were also women weaving and a display of how they dyed the wool. We returned to Cusco and visited the Cathedral and some other sites in the city. We parted ways with Chris and headed back to our hotel. April 29th we were picked up by our driver, Jonathan. He took us to the airport, where we returned to Lima. We were picked up by our driver, Augusto, who took us to our hotel in Miraflores. We spent the afternoon exploring the area near our hotel, Pullman Lima Miraflores. That evening we had dinner at a restaurant in the Larcomar shopping center. Good food with a great view of the Pacific Ocean. The following morning we were picked up by our guide, Jose, and driver, Victor. We went to the Plaza San Martin and took some pictures of the Gran Hotel Bolivar. We then went to the Plaza Mayor for a walking tour of Lima, visiting several churches and the Cathedral. Before we met our driver, Jose took us to his favorite Churro establishment. I believe the name was Churros Virgen del Carmen. Very tasty and quite different from the Mexican Churros. We were dropped off at a restaurant near our hotel that Jose recommended, Punto Azul Miraflores. Sharon and I both had fish dinners. The piece of fish covered the entire plate and it was one of the best fish dinners we have ever had. We headed back to the hotel to prepare for our 2:30 am pick up for the airport the next morning. Our driver, Humberto, was on time and we headed to the airport for our return flight to Miami. I want to give a special thank you to Grecia for preparing our great adventure. She always kept us updated and was quick to respond with any questions we had. The itinerary was precise and everything worked like clockwork. Our guides, Chris, Manuel, and Jose were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful every step of the way. Everyone from Inca Expert Travel we interacted with was professional and a great representative of your company. I would definitely recommend Inca Expert Travel to anyone considering a trip to Peru. George & Sharon Bruce
