A great trip! I highly recommend Incas Expert for travel to Peru. All of our transfers were flawless, even when our train to Machu Picchu was three hours late. The hotels were excellent with great food and top-notch service. Our guides were very knowledgeable and did a great job of modifying our tours to account for our physical limitations. They kept in touch with us regarding minor changes in flight times and during our tours. We had a great trip we will remember the rest of our lives.

This was a family vacation to Peru with our two college aged sons and my parents who are in their early 80s. We were interested in Machu Pichu as well as the Amazon. I attempted to pull this together myself, but within 30 minutes decided it was too much logistics to overcome. It's not that easy to book three hotel rooms in multiple places with connections and such. I found James Gilmore of Inca Expert Travel on the internet somehow. I am very glad I did. I just gave him the start and end dates, as well as couple of main things we wanted to see and visit, and left the rest to him. He came back with a great itinerary with all the logistics calculated. It was the best decision I've made. To make a long story short, the trip turned out to be one of the best we've ever taken. It was perfect for my elderly parents as well as my college aged sons. James at Inca Experts planned an absolutely flawless trip to Peru for us. Incas Expert Travel (specifically James) handled everything for our entire trip to Peru. We have been fortunate enough to travel all over the world and usually find a specialized company to design our trips. I can honestly say that James and Incas Expert was one of the easiest to work with and most thorough in their details. We always like to add some interesting twists to our trips and even those were handled perfectly. From the minute that you arrive, English speaking guides are waiting and ready to get you checked in to hotels or off on your tours and activities. Our guides were always on time or early and waiting on us. Each of the private tour guides were personable, informative, and very accommodating. We altered some of the tours on the spot to satisfy tired kids at the time. The guides rolled with it and pulled off exceptional tours and added events every time. We went from the Amazon to Cusco, hiked part of the Inca trail to see Machu Pichu and flew over the Nazca Lines from Lima. Hundreds of little details concerning transportation, luggage restrictions, tours and accommodations. All these details were a little concerning beforehand when traveling to another country, but We had absolutely NO issues and were extremely happy with everything that James and the Incas staff provided. 100% positive review. Incas Expert Travel handled every aspect of my travel from Lima to Cusco, to kilometer 104, the Inca Trail Climb, Machu Picchu and travel back to Cusco and Lima. They booked all transitions, flights and hotels. Everything went as planned and the trip was excellent. The tour guide, Jose Luis Candia was excellent, great knowledge, enjoyable and well organized.
