Great Customer Service!

The customer service agents at Anchor are always very polite and helpful. The wait time, on average, is just a few minutes. The reason for my call is always resolved before I get off the phone.

Anchor has ignored calls and emails

Anchor has ignored calls and emails, didn't respond to at least 2 court filings and now my wages and bank accounts are garnished. I just reached out to the other law form that owns almost all of my debts because apparently Anchor can't be bothered to do that - why am I paying them again?

I am very frustrated with this firm right now. Trying to reach them by phone involves waiting on hold for an unacceptable amount of time (45 minutes yesterday) only to be told the csr could not help me and the "person" who could would need to call me back....Second time I have been promised a call back for the same issue and I have yet to hear from anyone. The only response I receive from emailing them is an auto response. Really not sure what to do at this point...I am wishing I did a little more research on this company before I trusted them to help.

My experience with Anchor Law Firm has…

My experience with Anchor Law Firm has been a complicated one. At first I was relieved entering the debt relief program. The debt was a result of extenuating circumstances. Now about 15 months into the program I am being sued by 2 of the credit card companies. I call every couple of days for updates, but since I work and call after work I can't get any. I now have a court date set up for the first card I am being sued by and received a letter today that I am being sued by the second credit card company. Now I feel that I would have been better off paying the debt off myself.

When I signed up with Anchor I was kept…

When I signed up with Anchor I was kept abreast of settlements and provided documentation. I recently had a pending court action for another one of my creditors (BOA). My original debt was a little more than $10k. BOA gave my debt to a local law firm who threatened court action and showed my total debt $14k. In less than 2 yrs I was being charged with additional $4k with no explanation. Michael Bunyan handled this and now I still owe $10k / that’s negotiating? Someone dropped the ball and I agreed to a 36 month payments which extends my original contract with Anchor AND there is still the PNC debt that hasn’t been addressed. Once I have completed my BOA debt I will cancel my contract and deal with the last creditor myself. I saved nothing with this bungled BOA debt. I send you $542 a month and this is what I get in return? Disgusted, James Green
