AnyJunk doesn't really mean any junk

I called AnyJunk to discuss some garden waste I wanted collected (old lawn turf, bricks and rubble from a garden path that I had dug up). The call centre agent asked me to send some photos over e mail of the waste and a video of the access via a lane at the back of my house. I did this and AnyJunk responded saying they had looked at the photos and I should book a 'medium' load collection. I booked it and paid £167. On the day, the AnyJunk team arrived and said they couldn't take the waste, because they didn't have a wheelbarrow and the waste wasn't bagged up. At no point in my call to them or in the emails did they say the waste needed to be bagged. Over e mail they then said they could take the waste but the price would be £750 + VAT. So, clearly priced it to put me off. They should train their contact centre and office teams to not set incorrect expectations.

I booked a bulky waste collection

I booked a bulky waste collection. 5 items for £35. No issues on my part. Unfortunately for me I don't have good neighbours, they will walk past my front garden and dump their old buggies and mini fridges as they did in 2022. I contacted Anyjunk to advise on ETA. The person who answered kept repeating the same mantra. " We can't promise a specified timeslot" I explained that the longer it's left uncollected the rude neighbours will pile their junk onto mine. I contacted Brent Council who provided a different phone number, but I had to terminate the call as it was the very same person from the initial conversation. I hope they turn up on time. If anyone adds their rubbish unto mine I shan't be paying for a double collection. I promise Anyjunk.

Terrible service

AnyJunk was booked for me by a third party (who refurbished my kitchen), to remove the old kitchen; cupboards, oven, extractor fan unit, offcuts from kitchen fitting etc. This I was told would be on Friday. When it didn't happen on Friday, I called and was promised Monday. On Monday someone (who didn't identify themselves) arrived, said it was too much, turned around and left. Then I was promised it would be removed on Tuesday. Tuesday morning a couple of guys turned up in a truck already almost full of rubbish. They took a few bits and left, but didn't say when they'd be back for the rest. They just left most of it behind. Now I've been promised that someone will look into it on Wednesday, but I've had so many promises it's hard to believe that
