OUR TRIAL WEEKEND.

First day fine, however no drinks available on coach.meal in hotel reminded me of school dinners. Never seen a meat pie like it in my life. Sunday dropped off in Oxford. Told to be back at meeting point at 14.45 prompt so that we could leave at 15.00. It was one of the coldest days of the year. Everyone was back at the meeting point on time but the coach didn’t turn up till 15.15….all us old people were freezing and no hot drinks.This was a trial weekend for us and I realise it was cheap, but the wife and i weren’t too impressed.

The trip was value for money and the coach driver was very good and knowledgeable . The main course of the evening meal was not very appetizing

No water

It was more the Hotel but. We stayed at the Adelphi and I know it's condition so new what to expect however being without water for 12 hours and then a further day before heating and hot water. Compensation was offered but a glass on wine with dinner and extension on bar time and then a one free drink voucher is not adequate. We were away to experience Liverpool not sit in the bar at the hotel and also I do not drink wine! More needs to be done.

Empty promises.

Although the guy I spoke to was very helpful, he assured me he would ring back the following day as he needed to clarify something with their Customer Services dept. Unfortunately I am still awaiting his callback. Not having much luck with National Holiday lately, maybe it's a sign telling me not to bother booking with them!
