The coarse was very well constructed and ver informative on all aspects of knowledge required to go forward in a career of H G V The tutor’s communication skills where excellent unrivalled by his patience and knowledge of the subject I would highly recommend this company

Before you decide to buy a course from this company, I want to warn you to think twice. They act as middlemen who take your money to sign you up for a real training school, and they also charge extra for their services. In reality, they're more like salespeople, making big promises of well-paying jobs just to get your money. But here's the catch: they can't deliver on those promises because they have no contracts with companies to help you find employment. Instead, they simply pass your contact information to an agency called "The Best Connection," which don’t even have job opportunities for new drivers, leaving you struggling to find work. As a result, it's extremely difficult to secure a job as a new driver with no experience, and this broker doesn't offer payment plans, unlike many training schools that do. So, you may end up with no job and significantly less money in your bank account, all while realizing that the broker didn't do much to actually help you, except for abusing your phone number and making nothing but empty promises to take your money

Sales people will tell you anything just to make a sale leaving out information making the deal seam better than it is. When signing up to their service was told its all included and I won't need to pay any more assuring everything is covered, but as soon as the same week they asked me to pay for my own medical assuring again its only this payment that needs to be made. I got red flags instantly because of it and I requested to cancel the process straight away but because I had signed up, because the forms have been sent to my address I would have to pay a fee for cancelation. I could not afford to lose any money so I had no option but to continue, not to mention that they signed me up without sending me the contract that was included with the forms sent to me via mail. Sam the sales rep I was in contact with called me every Friday trying to guilt me to pay hundreds of pounds even after I explained that I am a simple worker who doesn't accumulate 400£ a week towards the payment, till the point it felt inconsiderate, unsympathetic and disingenuous making me think that he is contacting me only for the commission he is getting. Another lie that Sam told me the day he signed me up was a job opportunity offer after completion, which pays 25£/h for driving a car transporter, making it seem that its a part of their provided services. I remember asking him about the role later on to which he continued his lie. It was sad to find out that their service ends as soon as you booked your last CPC module and no interviews are awaiting you. The promised process of helping you find a role in your new profession is a quick edit of your CV done very purely and visually unpresentable and a generic cover letter. After that they point you to agencies and good luck to you. The training sets you up for failure. I did my class 1 fast track, rarely anyone passes it first time, that is why they won't tell you that you should buy extra 500£ of pass protection, not until the last payment is done, which again is not included in your agreed price. The 8 days of training 4 hours a day includes the tests on day 7 and 8 that reduces the time of actual practise. First 4 days I was driving only class 2 rigid lorry. On day 5th I received a new instructor which made it difficult to transition because he didn't know my skill level, my strengths and weaknesses. I had this one full day to practice in Artic before my driving test on day 8. On day 6, reversing first time before test tomorrow, a different instructor again late 25 min, 30 min brake, 30 min early finish. 2h35min was split between coupling and uncoupling trailer and revers practise on a dusty pothole covered uneven gravel in a Truck stop with a help of few cones and no real direction and advice by instructor. Day 7 the day for my reversing test. A different instructor again, this will be the 4th person I been assigned to, late 25min. 2 hour practise in the same Truck stop before he drives me to the test. Day 8 my driving test. My advice would be not to use this Broker but instead get your medical D4 form done by finding a local branch that does it. Go to post office get your D2 form and fill it. Once that is done combine it all with your license and send it DVLA. Book a theory. Pass theory. Look up a training agency like ''HGV complete'' or any other and book straight trough them instead of a broker like ''Easy as HGV'' once you are behind the wheel and you know that you are able to do it and you are sure you going to pass it then pay for CPC mod 2 and mod 4. Lastly get your drivers card/ tachograph card which you order online. If you do this instead will save you few hundred pounds and won't need to deal with sleazy sales people. O and as silly as it sounds download a minigame truck simulator on your phone and drive the truck backing up to get used to truck reversing mechanics to prepare for your reversing test.
