💯 on French test Successful session

Great Tutor. We accomplished our goals!

Varsity Tutors has been a positive experience for our daughter. The opportunity to have the same tutor available for a consistently scheduled time has made the difference from the previous system via text chat with random tutors.

I love the fact she has been very helpful to me and give me into details on the frequency.

My kids love Ms.Laura and she is very accommodating ❤️

Don't use! If you are a tutor, do not work for Varsity. They do not pay well 18ish dollars an hour which is well below the norm for tutors. They also expect you to contact students and lesson plan with out pay, as well randomly remove pay from your check with out cause. They also change terms and conditions of work with out notice. IT is almost impossible to get ahold of. 3 times I have been timed out / hung up on waiting for support. There is also no way to talk to payment on the phone or any form of management that is able to support tutors in a meaningful way besides e-mail. Those emails are often ignored.

Finally phone calls… saying that the refund has been issued. But no refund. No email response to my email stating this is false. Again the refund they are giving me is only half of what it should be. And I still don’t have it. 02/06/2025 Still no response or refund. 01/31/2025. Still nothing… 01/25/2025 Ticket#:2110824 You have all my contact information. I’ve emailed and called… waiting… I’m extremely frustrated with Varsity Tutors and their complete lack of transparency and customer service. My daughter loved the tutors, but we decided to move on shortly after purchasing another full year of sessions. I’ve been trying for over two years to get a refund for the unused sessions, but despite my efforts, the process has been drawn out and unprofessional. At first, they offered to refund only half of the amount, which I reluctantly accepted, but since then, the process has been delayed over and over. Recently, the refund was supposed to go through PayPal, but it was inexplicably canceled. I’ve now been waiting almost two weeks for an explanation about the cancellation, and every time I contact client services, they offer no answers or resolution. It's been an incredibly frustrating and time-consuming experience with no clear resolution in sight. While the tutors themselves were great, the company's handling of refunds is incredibly poor and unprofessional. I would not recommend Varsity Tutors based on the lack of customer support and inability to follow through on promises.

I can’t say enough great things about Varsity Tutors! They are not only an amazing platform for learning but also an incredibly understanding and supportive company. When unforeseen circumstances arose, they went above and beyond to help me by providing a refund, which I truly appreciated. Their team is always quick to respond, attentive to your needs, and flexible with scheduling. They genuinely care about their clients and tutors, ensuring everyone feels heard and valued. Working with them has been such a positive experience, and it’s clear they prioritize creating an environment where both learning and teaching thrive. Highly recommend Varsity Tutors for anyone looking for a top-notch tutoring experience!

If I could leave less than a 1 star review I would. Unfortunately Varsity Tutors did not help my daughter at all with her Calculus AB tutoring. For the most part, the lessons were done well short of the full hour time allotted (about 40 minutes). Her grade for calculus went down significantly after starting with Varisty Tutors. Since I have been trying to resolve this, I have been getting the run around and cannot talk with anyone with any authority.

JP has been wonderful! My son has learned so much and is feeling more confident with school.
