Completed online form for more information and was contacted within 24 hours. They call you and thoroughly explain the process of matching with a tutor and answer any questions. It’s not a high pressure sales pitch but an opportunity to ask questions and I found the whole intake process to be very straightforward. I was immediately sent pricing and learned how flexible the program is in regards to frequency and hours needed. My son finds the tutor he matched with helpful and we were quickly matched up with someone. I thought it would be more difficult because it is AP Statistics, but it was surprisingly easy! The platform used is an awesome resource (AI features, etc) so we are getting more than the weekly tutoring session included at no charge. It is very reassuring that we are able to add sessions around testing and exams if needed.

Aubrey is really nice and doesn’t make me feel bad if I mess up. I actually learn a lot that I haven’t learned through school and I greatly appreciate having such an amazing tutor to help with math.

I am certainly learning about how to speak Italian properly...grammatically speaking. I am understanding the WHY certain verbs, adjectives, and pronouns are formed and why they vary as to singluar, plural, male, and female. My tutor is patient and very knowledgeable. She is also rendering services and support far beyond the tutor job description.

This is an amazing way to practice upcoming ISEE tests, I have one coming up now, and I need to study for it. This is the best site. I would and you should recommend this to a family of a friend :)

Silvana is what makes the experience. I will admit, this is not easy but she knows how to teach. She knows when to mix things up like stressing vocab one lesson, reading stories another time.

My son was signed up for two months twice per week for ACT prep and the results were less than desirable. For a student who is on an AP track and a National Honor Society student the preparation provided by Varsity Tutors was unacceptable. There is no monitoring, accountability, or tracking of the progress of the student or the quality of the tutor. Nor did they follow up to inquire about the outcome and next steps. I would not recommend a company for standardized test preparations. Look for private institutions who are invested in your child doing well.
