They arrived early and helped us pack the last remaining bits. They were so helpful, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them, in fact my son has just booked them for his move. We would like to say an enormous thank you to Paul and Luke for making our move as stress free as possible. Being ex forces we have moved a lot, but this was the best one ever.

Arrived on time and immediately started to identify the items to pack. At all times they were courteous and polite, they soon had numerous boxes full of our possessions and these were loaded on to the vehicle. Once all items had been placed on the vehicle, they requested that we ensured everything in each of the rooms had been removed and nothing left. The offload at the destination went without a hitch, with everything placed in the rooms we requested. We could not fault these hard working, polite and courteous men.

We used Armishaws of Wincanton to assist us with our move. 3 men arrived early (joined by another man to help unload at the new house) and introduced themselves by shaking our hands etc. Toby who was organising the other lads and vehicles was brilliant. My husband and I talked with them and on and off, they answered all our questions putting our minds at ease and at the new house they put every box and item in the room we had requested or marked on the boxes. I really can’t thank them enough for what they all did for us. I had not truly realised how much stuff we had. There is no way we could’ve moved ourselves this time or in one day and it reduced our stress enormously. The new house has an awkward turn in the stairs but they all managed navigating round it. They were the exact people we needed and wanted for the job. Bravo Armishaws and thank you!

As the house we were buying for over a year, cobwebs everywhere we decided to split our house contents move in to essential and non-essential. The team arrived on day 1 and after showing them round our old house they soon began removing the non-essential goods, checking is they were unsure if something was to go. Completion day, they arrived on time and soon cleared all the essential items and asked us to walk round to make sure everything had been removed. Unfortunately completion did not take place until 16.55 (not our fault!) on our new house so the team had to wait patiently until they were told - good to go! They remained professional, trying to reassure us it would be ok, their sense of humour remained even though they had been with us since 0800. On the Monday the team arrived again with a lorry full of non-essential items. As they unloaded the boxes, sofas, table, chairs etc they checked as to where we wanted them to go, even having to move boxes to a different location if I got it wrong. They put our furniture in rooms and checked we were happy where it had been placed. So I hope you get the idea we were very impressed from the start to the end. Gary, Alex, Taylor, Dean, Martin, Wayne you were great but a massive thank you to Andy - you were a star. I would have no hesitation in recommending Armishaws.

Fantastic service at every stage. The initial sales service and quotation from Paul was very thorough and ensured that the handover to the removal team was seamless. Ours was a large move, over two days, brilliantly organised on the day by Alan and his brilliant team. All the guys worked so hard and, most importantly, with great care. From first communications via website right through to unloading at the new house all staff were very helpful and informative. Paul came to do the initial quotation and was full of useful advice on packing, insurance, deposits etc. Once we accepted the quote it took as another 6 weeks to get a completion date, this was never a problem and all communications were handled well. In exchange of contracts we only had 5 days notice of completion - this was not a problem and a lorry with Artur & Alun turned up early on a Monday morning to load up. They were both very friendly and interacting with us and 2 teenagers throughout the morning, checking what was going on the lorry, made what could be a stressful time easy. As we were moving 170miles away, our possessions were kept securely on the lorry over night and we met them at the new house the next day where they were waiting for us to get the keys. Rohan and Ciaran were part of the unloading team again very friendly and efficient with them driving away within 2hours of us getting the keys. Highly recommend this company, price, communication, friendly all the way through the whole process.
