Needed to move the contents of one ,large, rural property in Somerset to a similar, difficult to access, one on the Herefordshire/ Worcestershire border. From Ed’s initial visit from Wincanton through the office support staff and finally the move itself we were treated with professionalism, courtesy and good humour throughout. Having moved 12 times in the past thirty six years, including two foreign ventures, this was probably the easiest and least stressful we can remember. A two day, two lorry, load and similar unload was accomplished with care and consideration for both people and property. A special chapeau to Ben and Jo during the unload, Ben for his steely eyed determination to get his truck where a truck shouldn’t go ( but did with about an inch either side ) and Jo who flinched not whilst balancing the awkward end of a 200 kg plus hardwood table. A perfect team. Sincere thanks to all. We’ll be sure to call for number thirteen !!!

We booked a full service, and certainly got it. Right from the start when Craig went round our whole house and garden to produce a comprehensive inventory and associated estimates, through to the initial packing to storage and the main packing and move. As suggested, the packing and later delivery were both spread over several days, so that we could arrive with the "essentials" on the Friday of the move and then have the follow-up delivery after the weekend. The team were very professional and took care to work with us throughout the whole process. It certainly helped that we had continuity throughout from multiple team members - particularly Wayne and Martin. Chris was also very good during the delicates packing. Everything arrived safely, and in the right rooms. The team also took care to clear up after themselves, taking away a huge number of boxes and packing material after delivery. A call the next day triggered a rapid collection of a further 80+ boxes that had been unpacked. A great experience during what is a very stressful time. Thanks to everyone involved, including Sales, Transport and even the Accounts team for a smooth professional job.

Considering it was near Christmas and at short notice, the company were able to accommodate my needs very well. The team turned up to load punctually and dealt with my furniture with care and humour. Unloading was also punctual, efficient and done with professionalism. I do not move house that often, and it is a stressful experience, but I was happy with Armishaws and will happily recommend them to others.

I was worried that I wasn’t ready for the big move but once the lads arrived nothing was to much trouble, they cracked straight on and knew exactly how to pack the lorry/boxes so that we could make the most out of the space we had, they made the move a stress free experience and I would highly recommend Armishaws and the team.
