Our experience, end to end, was excellent. From Naomi in the office sorting everything out in quick time, due to the short notice, to Ed and Pete on the van providing a brilliant packing and delivery service, with just the right amount of humour and banter, set our minds at ease that our possessions were in good hands at all times. We had never used a removal company before but we would highly recommend Arminshaws, everyone supported and advised us through the whole process. Matt and Garry the removal team were with us for three days, they worked extremely hard, were very helpful and courteous at all times.

We had our furniture in storage from March to Nov 2020. Whilst I cannot fault the service this is a word of warning regarding insurance. We put a claim in for minor damage to a sofa, knocks to a much loved chest of drawers and a definite chunk out of a hardly used bedside cabinet. We showed the men at the time and they did not make any comment about noted damage. The insurance company refused to accept the claim as they said they were already damaged . When we checked the intake inventory just about everything was marked as soiled/ damaged so it’s impossible to prove that anything is due to them. We feel like criminals but realise we aren’t going to get anywhere although we know our claim is genuine. So....check the inventory comments before allowing the furniture to go. Take pictures if necessary.

Efficient, cooperative and polit employees of Armishaws. The move was more complicated due to Covid restrictions; nevertheless the experienced operatives, Dan and Toby, executed the requirement without fuss and with a deal of expertise. Well done and thank you.

The Armishaws moving crew were brilliant. Everything from the first visit assessing our moving needs room by room, sheds and all our outside equipment was first-class. Packing and sorting at both ends couldn't be better, and all done with a cheery smile.

Excellent service throughout from Armishaws. Communication before the move was good and a thorough survey was conducted by video. The removal team were polite and efficient; our possessions were packed carefully and very quickly. Delivery was also very quick and efficient with everything unloaded as we directed. Armishaws made the whole move as stress free as possible and we would thoroughly recommend them.

Ours was a big and complicated move over a distance of 120 miles, and undertaken during the third Covid lockdown. The removal team were great. They were efficient, helpful and very hard working. Their cheerful enthusiasm was infectious despite the cold, wet weather. They regularly came to us to ask if we were happy with the way things were going. They were meticulous in ensuring we were content with the positioning of larger items of furniture. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better service.

Excellent service provided. From the initial video survey to the completed house move everyone I dealt with were highly professional. It's nice to know there are companies with very high standards still out there. Darren and Wayne were unstoppable during the move. I have one more move in a few years and I know where we will be going. Thank you.

Generally if I could give more stars ⭐️ I would. I had Gary and Matt turn up to pack my house and they were brilliant and super efficient, anyway they could help me they did. All they asked in return is cups of tea to keep them powering on. They arrived on time, both at removing and delivering items. Very professional. I would certainly use this company again.
