Disappointing experience (although see update for conclusion)

Disappointing experience for me with Kristina Young which would put me off ordering or recommending. Very happy with the actual item I ordered - I was informed it was on a backorder and then it was dispatched accordingly. All good. However, I am entitled to VAT free but have not received this despite asking several times. I don't understand how a company feels it is ok to ignore their customers emails (especially if there is no telephone contact). I have noticed that unhappy customers seem to get a telling off for bothering the company as they are only small, or/and, a blow by blow account of transaction and emails times/dates etc. Not the best way to help reach a mutual happy outcome. I have not pestered with multiple emails - just politely enquired 3 times since the beginning of June: 1st was a note in the order (unlike most wig companies, you have to be given special permission from K. Young to receive Vat free but as the site said they could reimberse after ordering, I asked to do it this way as there was a weekend sale price). 2nd time was after receiving the item but no VAT reimbersement. 3rd time was two weeks later, after no further response, despite them confirming they would reimburse and asking for my bank details. There doesn't seem to be any othe way of progressing the situation on. I am grateful it is just the VAT issue here as it seems the customer has no way of getting through to the company for aftersales help. *UPDATED: 13/8/22. I have now received my VAT refund so although it wasn't a quick or easy process, I'm grateful it did get sorted in the end.

Fab - and fast - service

Great, personal service. Really helpful and went the extra mile to get me exactly what I wanted. Was taken aback at how quickly my topper was delivered. Would definitely order from Kristina again.

Excellent customer service & very knowledgeable

Having just been for a consultation with Kristina, I can not rate her highly enough. She is very knowledgeable & not pushy at all. I have come away exceedingly happy with my purchase. I had a 5 hour round trip to see her, but it was definitely worth it & will by purchasing from her again. It’s going to make a massive difference to my confidence.

Bought an item back in March for my…

Bought an item back in March for my wife...still waiting for it now. Not receiving updates at all and having to chase constantly. I'd tske my business elsewhere but my wife has her heart set on this one product.

Do not order here.

Absolutely let down and disappointed. This company leaves you hanging for days on end without any specific answers or updates on restock and shipping times for delayed items. It has happened twice, where I have had to contact for a response multiple times. I was finally replied to with a condescending response that kept repeating what her original email said. Instead of easing a customer’s anxiety with waiting and wondering for weeks for a much needed topper, they chose to not answer for days, send a rude email regarding my inquiry, and proceed to cancel my order after I specifically said to keep it on back order. Customers reserve the right to inquire about estimated delay times without being dismissed and ignored. Please rethink before ordering from this company. Other companies will take care of your worries and inquiries with care and respect.

Very happy

Very happy This wig is really lovely and great quality. I usually buy human hair wigs but decided I'd save some money and bought a synthetic one this time. It did not disappoint as the first time I tried it on I knew I liked it. My only small criticism is the parting space which i did pluck a bit to make it a bit wider. It came well packaged and very timely. I've had so many compliments whilst wearing it. Most people don't realise it's a wig. Would buy from Kristina Young again.
