Great service as you would want when spending a bit of money on something. What makes them stand out and deserve 5 stars in my mind is that I had a small unexpected issue with the bike at the weekend, dropped them an email to let them know and as soon as they opened today they have collected, fixed and returned my bike - amazing service. Recently used the Cycle to Work scheme to purchase an Orbea Urrun E-MTB. The guys at Surge Bikes did a great job helped me tailor the deal to suit my needs. The bike was ready very quickly and communication and customer care was superb throughout.

I was very cautious about using an online retailer, but the good reviews spurred me on. I contacted Surge about placing a cycle to work order and the communication was excellent. My concerns were clearly responded to and an explanation as to how they ship bikes was also reassuring. I love the purchase and the support from Surge - this is in spite of the long delays faced in actually getting my order. This wasn't due to Surge, but due to an issue with supplies to the UK for Tern products. Which I hope improve for future customers. Surge were very communicative, once the order had got to them, they got it to me almost next day! I had a warranty issue early on, despite being many miles away Surge took the details and immediately sent out replacement parts. Overall - a really positive experience. If I had to buy another e-bike (which I hope I don't) Surge would be my first choice. Thanks Matt & the team.

My new NBD TERN bike ticks all the boxes of what I needed in a bike. I am short and getting older and needed a bike that was easy to step through and to put my toes to touch the ground when I needed to stop. Yes it is expensive, but I looked at a range of bikes and this was the only one that was suitable and comfortable and had the oomph to get me where I wanted to go. I also needed one that could carry lots of shopping. I like the suspension on the saddle as it softens the pothole experience of riding on our roads. Pretty good battery life for each charge too. Finally I chose a bright red version as I like to decorate my bike with silk flowers and the red colour sets them off perfectly. I have been called 'An old lady on a bike' but now I am also very colourful one! Matt has been extraordinarily helpful and always prompt in his replies and advice. The bike arrived within 2 days and was very well packed.

Very impressed with the customer service. An online order isn't processed until they call to discuss with you whether your chosen bike is suitable. Was apprehensive about the bike being delivered by freight company, and had not used blink payment processing before, but all good, no problems at all. Great range of quality bikes to choose from. Highly recommended.
