No real value - Money grab on auto renewals

Identity Guard didn't provide any real value. I signed up for a year's subscription for $204.62. It auto renewed after a year for $341.11. I called as soon as I saw the charge to get it reversed, and they said tough luck. I finally found the auto-renewal notice they sent buried in their daily charges spam. The service is definitely not worth your time or money, especially when they make an obvious money grab with subscription renewals.

Safekeeping of sensitive data ... not so sure!

I had a few issues with this company all related to the simple matter of changing my name. Even though it's been over six months since I changed my name with the social security administration and with my driver's license, the system Identity Guard uses to tap to public records did not pick up my name. Option - email us your documents proving your new name via their unsecured email. I have done this with other banks and they all provide a secure link to transmit sensitive documents. Not Identity Guard! Contacted customer support 4 times - got 4 case numbers with the promise of a 24-48 response. No response. Called and waited 20 minutes - if I cancel I do not get my money back. As a customer I felt completely let down by the company that is supposed to be keeping my identity secure. Makes me wonder how they manage to keep my information secure when they don't have access to the most accurate records and they cannot provide secure links for sensitive information.

Bibi was so kind, helpful, informative and helped me navigate this confusing thing called identity theft. She stayed on the line with me while we figured out who tried to open an account using my information, she answered my questions and is walking me thru everything. SCAM COMPANY

I cancelled my trial offer the day it was to be cancelled and i was to be charged the next day they charged me and when i called to get it removed they told me they do not refund charges. I was not to be chareged until the next day they charged me a day early and so it was their issue not mine. they are scams like every other fly by night company like them. Read the complaint you charged me a day prior to the end of the trial and two days before you said you would in ur welcome email. Your a scam company for trying to steal money then saying oh no refunds its in our terms. Its nkt in your terms that youll take my money two days before you should. SCAM COMPANY BEWARE.

Excellent service with a high-risk alert from Identity Guard

On 8/16/2022 we were referred to a white-glove team member by the initial contact representative. He called us back within 2 hours, Jeff was extremely helpful, walking us through every step that we needed to take help investigate the high-risk monitoring alert. He performed a 'warm call' with the company where the alert originated. He stayed on the line with the fraud resolution rep as we explained our issue and added clarification questions to help us. The company committed to investigate and respond to us in 24-48 hours. Jeff also offered to be our personal rep with Identity Guard for the next 3 months as the issue is resolved. As upsetting as an identity fraud attempt is, Jeff helped us feel confident we were in good hands and we will recommend your company to family and friends.

Outstanding Customer Service!

I am so impressed with Identity Guard, from the intake call with Lee, to Olivia in the White Glove Department staying on the phone with me and walking me through the whole process, to her follow up emails. She was very reassuring, knowledgable, kind and efficient. They both were. This happened yesterday and I've already given my testimony to a friend.

Fraud investigation

Leon, was very knowledgeable. And helpful in resolving and totally investigating my Identity fraud incident. To the extent of getting the other company, Dell, on the phone line. At the end I was given 3 fraud report numbers, to report this to my local police department.
