Used new card details to take payment without permission

When I first subscribed the price was reasonable for the flowers received , beautiful long lasting and for the standard box 4 of the main flowers besides lots of foliage. After around 6 months the price increased without warning and my fortnightly order was changed to weekly without my permission, the flowers that I received where nothing like the quality before, they died very quickly and they made standard orders with less flowers and created a new larger product with not many more flowers but the price was ridiculous. I emailed to try and cancel my sub but never received a reply , the company make it very difficult to cancel so I ended up just skipping orders for as long as the calendar would let me. I emailed again asking to cancel and had no reply, then my card linked to my account expired so I thought great they will have to close my account as my card won’t work yet the other day I received flowers I had not ordered and somehow they had taken it from my new card without me giving them the new card details? I have emailed again demanding a refund and a cancellation confirmation but after a week nothing back. I want an explanation how they have charged me on a card I haven’t provided details to or in anyway agreed to pay through it, is this legal, I am furious, I think when they started it was a smaller company seems now to be a franchise or localality based, rubbish flowers ridiculous prices and charging to a card without authorisation. I am going to contact trading standards regarding them as I believe they have acted dishonestly whether intentional or not and I want an explanation where they got my new card details from. When my card expires with other online companies they inform you and ask for a new payment method as they can’t access any payments without new details. Shocking to be honest, I would go to your local florist and pick your own , fresher and cheaper in my opinion.

Following an error with a delivery which was for a special birthday, Freddie’s Flowers put things right by honouring the order (and making it better) as well as a refund for my inconvenience. My friend has received the flowers for her 60th birthday and they are stunning!

Hounded by phone calls

After having to sadly cancel my subscription, I have been hounded by phone calls by their overseas call centre. I cancelled months ago and over the course of 2 days have been called 5 times by their call centre on different numbers but when I google each of them they are always linked to Freddie’s flowers. I was thinking of restarting my subscription but will avoid the company completely!

Takes hours to get through to their…

Takes hours to get through to their customer service on the phone. Less hassle in using your local flower shop. Don’t waste your money as supermarket flowers last longer. Refund they said and yet weeks on still waiting. They’ve lost my custom as it’s always convenient for their system to order me flowers I didn’t order and yet it’s my mistake!!! Er no, I don’t think so somehow. More trouble than it’s worth and too expensive and not any different in what you get just an excuse to charge you more for the same thing! Be aware of these online delivery services. Not good

Fantastic Personal Service

I have received a number of boxes from Freddie's Flowers and love them. The flowers come beautifully protected, and wrapped up. The return service for the packaging is a great touch, and the courrier they use is informative but not spammy! Fresh flowers in the home is such a treat and the flowers from Freddie's are just that. They last, the display tips are fantastic and if ever you need to contact them the service is prompt, polite and personal. If you are lucky enough to afford fresh flower bouquets for your home, I highly recommend this service.

I always love the selections of blooms I receive from Freddie’s but the Manhattan in Fall box I received was absolutely gorgeous. Also they are lasting so well.
