Absolute disgrace if I could give 0 stars I would lost documents payed for doing nothing basically chasing things up all the time conversations over phone sound like can’t be bothered only used these through our mortgage lender not through choice reviews on sites of these are shocking stay well clear reviews say it all on different sites you have to tell them at least 2 or 3 times to do anything felt like a parrot repeating myself cowboys company is a joke all they’ve done is waste our time and effort

Sadly I'm stuck in a chain dealing with this lot, please avoid them like the plague, completion date was the 25th June, they didn't order the funds, new date 30th June, they failed again and now want the 15th July. even there own customer can't get hold of her own solicitor, so they cost me stamp duty and moving fee's today, they are totally unprofessional. AVOID, they have just posted this reply and are still the ones holding up the chain, you were supposed to of exchanged Friday, it's Monday and again your unprofessional and a let down.

For me was difficult to decide how many stars to rate Glover Priest . I have chosen them for buy to let property back in March. My case was held by Farwa( she left while in progress) and the communication between us was very poor. No reply, no updates. Then Karishma Paul took over. I was desperate to complete before stamp duty deadline, and we did it. Thank you Karishma. She took my file seriously, followed all my instructions and we TALKED! All completed before the deadline. So I would say it all depends on your conveyor, Karishma really did her best in my favour and cannot thank her enough. I went through lots of stress and disappointment, but I am very happy she did her best ! Thank you Karishma

Really disappointed with Glover Priest solicitors, from the beginning to end process it was not a smooth ride. I had problems with communication (several emails and phone calls before even receiving an acknowledgment). I felt that because I was a first time buyer I was not important enough and was neglected, there was no urgency and it was always the case of “as and when they can look to progress the case”. When I did manage to receive communication it was abrupt, stern and matter of fact. I would not recommend these solicitors if you want to move into your house quickly. My process took 6 months and I had NO chain either side. The solicitors would always take weeks to respond to vendors enquiries and they lost IMPORTANT contract documents which resulted in me having to resend (with no apology). I can not reiterate enough to not use Glover Priest.

I see a lot of negative reviews on here. Whilst I cannot comment on those I can detail my experience with Glover Priest in Wellingborough. Glover Priest were one of several recommended by the Estate agent to assist me in the purchase of my new home. I was keen to get this through before the end of the Stamp Duty holiday. From the first contact I found them excellent in terms of communication and understanding and they acted very quickly in getting the searches etc completed. The sale went through very quickly and I felt informed and valued throughout the process. They even assisted me post sale in getting the seller to remove some left items from the loft. All in all a great experience and first class service. I rarely leave reviews but in this instance I believe its warranted.

Reading reviews and wanted to leave some very similar to some others. GloverPriest are a firm within our chain. I know they’ll reply with generic “not our client, not valid review” however it’s important for future sales. If GLOVERPRIEST are being used by your buyer or seller, ask them to change solicitor! Your sale will be heavily delayed - I’m not sure ours will ever happen due to how awful this company are.

Excellent swift service doing probate. Kept me fully informed and made the process very easy for me.

Not our solicitors, but our buyers. We’ve been ready to exchange on our onward sale for 6 weeks! Glover Priest have been ignoring our solicitor and estate agent, not getting back to any of us. Holding up the sale unnecessarily. Beyond frustrated with this firm. Our buyers are the only ones able to get through, however they are equally as frustrated. Need to complete before Stamp Duty deadline and their turnaround time is abysmal.

I wish I’d read the reviews before engaging the Kings Heath branch for my Mom and Uncle to sell a jointly owned property. I was only updated if I rang or emailed, when told I would get a return call it didn’t happen. The online app was never updated and even when the sale went through it still wasn’t. The 1 star is for their transferring our case to another solicitors who were on the ball and got everything sorted. Would not use them again.
