Order Paid, Confirmed, Then Out Of Stock w/NO Updated Delivery

Placed my confirmed order on 10/17/23, received an email on 10/17/23 advising me the four (4) items I paid for are “out of stock”. They asked if I wanted different colors or wait 5-7 days (which would’ve been 10/22/23) for them to reorder. I told them I wanted only the items I paid for and asked them to confirm the NEW date I’d receive my order. After multiple email exchanges, STILL with NO confirmation, I was then told they can NOT guarantee if or when they’ll receive their shipment to ship my PAID order. Again after days of NO confirmation of my new ETA, on 10/22/23, I told them to CANCEL and REFUND me! Their customer service is HORRIBLE and unprofessional! NEVER again! Ordered the SAME items from another online company for less and my order has shipped within 24 hours and will be here in 72 hours!!! 10/27/23 - Response to Seller: when I purchased from your site, the items WERE IN STOCK! If they were NOT available for sale, a company with good and moral business practices would update their site to show “OUT OF STOCK”, so the customer was NOT able to purchase! Instead Ebonyline chooses NOT to do that and deceptively took my money, emailed me AFTER the Order Confirmation, told me the items are OUT OF STOCK, then ask me to select another product or wait 5-7 days, which would’ve been by 10/23/23! This is UNACCEPTABLE!!! I shop on line ALL the time and have NEVER been asked by ANY company to be made responsible for contacting them to ask if they have product availability! If it’s NOT available that’s the company’s RESPONSIBILITY to make sure they are on top of their inventory! On 10/20/23, I emailed you to confirm that you had in-fact placed the reorder, you responded that you can NOT guarantee when or if you’d get a new shipment! I AGAIN asked you to confirm when my order would ship I received NO response to my question, so I found ANOTHER company to order from and I received my shipment on 10/24/23! Clearly you are NOT the only company who sells hair and Divatress has great customer service and was able to ship what I ordered from you on 10/16/23 and CANCELLED on 10/22/23! They got my NEW order on 10/22/23 and DELIVERED in 48 hours! Ebonyline STOP making excuses!!! Take OWNERSHIP and RESPONSIBILITY for your extremely poor customers service and deceptive business practices!!!
