Ordered a dishwasher from Dacombes. I could have got it cheaper at John Lewis and other sellers but in a mad moment I decided to support a local business. Big mistake. The shop told me in a very terse way on the phone that they would only leave it at the doorstep of our property "as per terms & conditions" but our door is one step up. This is a very heavy item. As it turned out the driver was kind enough to manouevre the item into our hallway. Well I have learned my lesson. The next item I bought from Marks Electrical and what a huge different experience that was, great price and just amazing service. Ordered Sunday and arrived Monday. Nothing was too much trouble to bring the goods where I wanted.

Friendly and helpful service in store. Price identical to online and national electric goods store. Delivery, installation and removal cheaper. One week for delivery preceded by a phone call on the day of installation. Pleasant, polite and efficient installer who left the surrounding area spotless.
