I requested that my last order be canceled within 5 minutes of ordering. There should be a very simple way to cancel or update orders. It was a pill for hair loss and contained an ingredient that I overlooked when ordering.

Poor Communication & Long Processing Times

I placed my order on 1/14/2025. The status screen and all the messages from "contact us" say that orders will be filled within 2-3 days. However, it is 1/27 thirteen days later and the status has not changed. When I have messaged customer service on multiple occasions, all I'm ever told is it takes 2-3 days. If items are out of stock or there are unexpected difficulties these should be transparently communicated to patients so that they can be informed. If it is known that an items is in high demand or supply is low, then expectations should be adjusted on the front end before the person spends a lot of money ($897 in my case) and thinks they will have their desired meds in a short time frame. EDIT: Since I left the original review the HIMS team has fixed the situation. They issued a partial refund for the inconvenience and arranged for expedited delivery of my meds. While I regret the initial frustrations, I do commend them for the responsiveness in trying to remedy the initial shortcomings. That is more than many businesses would do.

Please avoid them like the plague. Firstly it's quite foolish to get medication online without any consultation from a GP. After I placed my order I was under the impression that someone would give me a call but mo such thing happened. I was exploring medication for hair loss and recently there has been an article on the BBC about the risk of taking hair loss medication without any GP consultation. After reading that I cancled my membership with them and tried to get a refund but was refused saying they cannot do refund for prescriptions. Anyone reading this - do not fall for online pharmacy ads like I did. Please consult a GP and get your 💊 the old fashioned way. It's much safer as you need to understand the risk explained to you in person before taking any medication.
