Mark was excellent. He rang to let me know he was on his way which I appreciated. He refitted the weather bar on my back door which was still under guarantee and put on better sealant which will repel the rain more efficiently. He also gave me good advice about which products to buy for the maintenance of the locks in the doors and that advice was now available about care and maintenance on the West Yorkshire Window’s website. Excellent after care service. Thank you.

Unprofessional service
When you have numerous problems ongoing and although we have e mailed and made an official.complaint. NOBODY is willing to contact us back. Policy states 5 working days for someone to get back to you regarding a complaint. It is 3 weeks now and still nobody been back in touch. Absolutely disgusting customer service

Genuine guarantee and good service
After having the windows installed 5 years ago we noticed some fading on one of the panes. We phoned West Yorkshire Windows and a engineer came round a took a photo. A few weeks later the replacement part was fitted by Mark who was very professional in his work and also a friendly chap!

Roofing Issue
We had an orangery built by WYW that was completed in October 2020, as the months went by we noticed a 'Cracking' sound from the roof, In May of 2021 I spoke with Dawn of WYW and was able to send her a recording of the sound the roof was making. Dawn took it to the experts who had not heard the likes before, Dawn organised for their best two fitters Dave & Gavin to come out and inspect. When they turned up they were able to recreate the noise by cooling the roof down with cold water and they concluded that it was expanding with heat and contracting when it cooled down thus leading to a 'Cracking' sound as it cooled down. They concluded that the roof had been built with insufficient fixings. Dawn rang me a few days later to organise a permanent fix, I asked for Dave & Gavin to be the fitters that attend as I did not now have faith in the original fitter that had built it incorrectly, I had to wait a while for a slot with them. Last week in August they turned up and re-boarded, re trimmed and Fibre glassed the roof again, three days of work in total ...... They did a real good job, the appearance of the roof is so much better and to date we have had no strange 'Cracking' sounds from it so looks like their time, effort and diagnosis has been spot on. So my thanks & recommendations go to: Dawn in Customer services at WYW. Dave & Gavin the fitters who identified and fixed the problem. Well done guys, great job all round keep up the good work. No mess, no fuss door replacement
One of our sliding patio doors (installed seven years ago) shattered during the recent heatwave. Mark and Luke arrived this morning, moved our furniture, as my husband was in a conference call, and installed the window. Whilst cleaning the newly-installed pane, a crack on the inside of the glass was discovered, photographed and reported. They tidied up and then went to the trouble of putting the furniture back in place. Many thanks to them, for going above and beyond!!! This afternoon, I received an apologetic call from customer services assuring me a replacement would be with us soon. When things go wrong, how the issue is dealt with is the most telling. We cannot recommend Yorkshire Windows highly enough. They stand by their ten year warranty, treat their customers professionally and solve issues promptly. It’s been a pleasure dealing with them.

We had multiple windows and bifold…
We had multiple windows and bifold doors plus a bespoke entrance door with arch from west Yorkshire windows. Lovely company to deal with throughout. They were very patient throughout the selection process as we wanted a specific colour that they had custom sprayed for us. Fantastic after sales. Their engineer mark returned to realign a heavy door that was slightly catching and was so polite, a credit to the company.

Poor customer service
So we ordered two new windows nothing fancy or complicated. Initially we had a call to say they would have to change the installation date from 23rd Jul to 6th August due to a delay. Then last week I had a call asking if they could do 5th instead of 6th PM, so we agreed. So today (5th) we eagerly awaited a call, they had said the fitter could arrive anytime from 12 noon. At 11.36 today I had a call saying sorry they can't come today. Why they could not have called sooner I don't know. They asked when I would like my windows fitting, I said ASAP she just said she would have to check available dates.... I have asked for my deposit back but they won't give it back. I guess they are just allowed to keep peoples deposits and do what the hell they like (or not do anything!!), nice little earner for them, take peoples money and don't deliver the goods. Don't waste your time with them.

We have had our windows & conservatory fitted several years ago & recently had a problem with a few of the windows & door in conservatory . As still under warranty we contacted West Yorkshire Windows & found them very polite & professional to deal with . We found the service engineers Mark Bentley & Alan Eastwood very helpful & polite . Would definitely recommend West Yorkshire Windows
