Had a problem with tenant & engineers…

Had a problem with tenant & engineers meeting on site due to tenant working hours.Beautifully resolved by Kyleigh almost immediatly. There are a number of very negative reviews here but it is very definately not my experience. If you want a positive outcome contact Kyleigh (not a relative or personal friend)

I recently had to contact Encore's Cambridge office over a very complex and difficult issue I was having. I didn't hold out much hope of getting the problem resolved. Although she didn't have to - and although it meant a lot of extra work for her - Encore's Kayleigh Cowan went above and beyond to help me out of what had become a very tricky and stressful situation. Said they would look into issues - THEFT - & other issues / breaches condoned by BERKELEY HOMES GROUP - ended up writing to me saying they are NOT going to address / communicate - all under the guise of scum being Berkeley Homes Corrupt Directors whom are thieves.

We have had an ongoing issue with them on fee increases

We have had an ongoing issue with them providing details on a 100% increase in our costs. I have written several emails and they keep skirting around the issue and not providing the correct information. Our costs have gone to £1k to over £2k with then stating its all relates to the new fire regulations which we do not come under. Our property is only attached to the flats by a bin store underneath and do not use many services only the building insurance. They response is poor, we have final reminders as I have stated the increase will not be paid for until we have resolution to the queries. More letters equals more unnecessary costs on their part. When asked about changing the management agents I was advised they could not provide the persons name who we needed to contact under GDPR! Their complaints process is a disgrace and legal advice will be sourced to have this resolved.

Encore Cambridge is pathetic. Not up to the task at all

Encore Cambridge has yet again washed their hands of a management problem,trying to get owners of flats to sort out and pay for repairs to leaks in infrastructure by accusing us of not maintaining our flats. When you can get hold of anyone, their customer service is atrocious, bossy, insulting, and not even factual. Maybe if they ever visited the property they would know what they are talking about. After over a week of leaks in several properties, problem has not been identified or fixed. And STILL we pay too high maintenance charges. For what exactly?

Financial management is poor

Financial management is poor, received revised budget figures for 2020/21 three days after Christmas 2022 (so nearly 18 months after the end of the accounting period) with no prior warning. All of a sudden an extra £2k to fork out at the toughest time of year. Cheers Encore.

Service charge is a daylight robbery.

Considering the monthly costs, the service - or rather the lack of it- is appalling. The lift hasn't been cleaned since late November, vacuuming of the floors even longer. The smoke system is faulty, therefore the window in the staircase is permanently opened and makes the beeping sound. The engineer who appeared last Thursday to fix it failed, as now the window is fully opened and yes, it's still beeping. Worst of all, however, is the bin situation. Although there is a bin shed, the bins are permanently outside of it, right next to the building entrance. The view and the stench is just disgusting and very likely a hazard- rats and insects. All in all, service charge is a daylight robbery considering zero effort from Encore to make the situation better. One star is a generous review.
