The following supports my email to Customer Service about points to be resolved: 1. The chain has become detached from the idle pin. 2. Thought the chain supplied was too light for the blind drop (160cm) and too short. 3. Suggested chain should have a minimal gap between each ball to make it heavier. Now awaiting reply

Excellent quality blinds but suspect customer service I

I ordered seven vertical blinds and so far as quality, price and delivery is concerned I would award a 5 star rating. Having submitted my order online I discovered the next day that I had forgotten to include the “mis measurement” insurance cover. I telephoned and emailed Customer Service to ask for this to be included and to raise an additional bill for me to pay. I heard nothing for several days when I received a message to say that my blinds had been made and an estimated delivery date. Fortunately all of my measurements were spot so Customer Service’s saved me the insurance premium. Despite their failure to answer my query I would still use Shade and Story again.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Faulty blinds, numerous emails with no reply and can’t speak to anyone on phone. John Lewis should pull this company from their website.
