Very pleased with this company

Very pleased with this company. We needed a survey for the purchase of pur new home. We went for the level 3 survery and are very happy with what we received. Very thorough report. We were so pleased we reccomended to our friends who subsequently used them also and were very happy. Report reference 240251

Would recommend

We were buying a victorian home and wanted to get a level 3 survey done on it for our own comfort. It was really easy to set up our survey with Dunham Hale and we got a date booked in very quickly. The survey itself was very detailed and gave us a comprehensive outline of the problems with the property, which we were then able to use in negotiations. Couldn't fault the quality of the survey received. My only minor critique is that the turnaround for our survey was set out to be 7 working days and we did not receive it in that time. I did utilise the chat function on the website to chase the receipt of our survey on the 8th day, and we then received the survey the next day so this was not too much of an issue just something to note.

Dunham surveyors quite professional and very prompt in replying the emails. The telephonic conversation with surveyor is also helpful to understand and clarify the queries in report. Pooja Reference- 240189

Competitively priced and able to…

Competitively priced and able to undertake survey within 2 weeks of enquiry. Level three report completed within 7 days and has provided good details around the condition of the property.

Still waiting for survey to be returned…

Still waiting for survey to be returned (almost a week late) and it is impossible to get through to anyone via phone/email. We went with Dunham Hale as they seemed to promise a quick turnaround. However, this is definitely not that case.

Unresponsive after paying

Paid on the 2nd of May, it is now the 13th and I have heard nothing at all, unable to get through on the phone after calling multiple times and nobody replies to emails either. I can see from the reviews here that I am not the only one, I booked our survey after reading great reviews here and so I am hoping someone at Dunham Hale will see this and get back to me or I will have to take legal action. Update - after posting this I had a reply within a few hours, my survey has now been booked. I was not informed of any specific circumstances and no apology was issued. I will update this review once the report has been completed.

Unresponsive after taking money

Very friendly and helpful until they have your money... then no report and complete silence. No response to any calls or emails for over a week. Holding up my whole home buying process. At this stage I cannot recommend.

Terrible

Terrible - survey had incorrect information which ultimately led to me pulling out of the property purchase a week before completing. I have tried to contact Dunham Hale numerous times for a resolution with no answer. I could have ended up in an unbelievable amount of debt due to the incorrect survey results. AVOID.
