Very poor customer service
My friend ordered a lamp which was not suitable and was returned eventually by Evri. A refund was not received despite calls to a very expensive phone line, which in itself is disgraceful. She is still trying to obtain the refund but via email now due to the cost! I would avoid this company.......

Once again they gave it to Evri/Hermes. 10 days later and no one knows where it is. Evri produced no tracking and EV won't reply to emails. Use your bargepole and avoid this circus.

While the products ordered will probably be OK and arrive on time, the website is a disaster. It takes an unconscionable time to search for a desired item because of the strange way they are categorised and a complete lack of being able to search by name or the catalogue number. This renders the 'through the door' catalogue as useless.

Inexcusably poor service…
Bought my mother a handbag for her birthday as she received the magazine and chose it, ordered well in time for the event only for the email to state it would take till the 18th march I ordered on 25th Feb just for reference then the 18th rolls round and nothing arrives... entered tracking info doesn't work then called number doesn't work at this point I'm livid as there has been no thread of info to reassure me I haven't been scammed.. finally found a cs number only to speak to some dopey woman who sounded like she'd rolled out of bed who could then not offer me a refund for the rubbish service id received and didn't care about it enough to even apologise I now have to wait a further 3 weeks or so to see if they can be arsed to send me my purchase! whoopy doo.. my advice for this business is to sell the stock to a more successful platform like Amazon and let them handle your customers.. so annoyed buy with caution.

Very poor customer service
I ordered and paid for two Mattress Fresh deodorisers online. However, only one was delivered, and my subsequent emails and phone calls to customer service have been ignored. It's a shame, because the product itself is good, but I'm afraid I won't be ordering anything from this company in future.

False returns information
I bought a set of four belts priced at £14.95 and paid £6.95 postage. Unfortunately the belts didn’t fit through the trouser tabs and had to be returned. I checked the return policy and it stated that if they were returned via an Evri return shop it was free. I did and received a refund of only £8. When I rang to query I was told I was charged £6.95 return fee. I have emailed twice and they are pointing to the top of the return policy where it says £6.95 will be deducted from the refund. I have informed them that it states at the bottom of the returns policy if it’s returned to one of their return points it’s a free service. I found the lady on the phone to be rude and even in the emails the reply was curt they just didn’t want to know. I will never shop with them again. Postage has cost me £13.90 for belts that were only just over £14 and still I have nothing to show for my money. An appalling, cheating company!

Trouble at t'mill
I'm so glad I made my purchase through PayPal as Expert Verdict did not refund the item I returned, and did not reply to any of my emails chasing it up. So I had to make a complaint and then escalate to a claim via PayPal who thankfully sorted it out and finally I have now got my very delayed refund. When I first made the order back in November of last year I didn't even get an order acknowledgement from the company so I thought something was off right from the start. I've ordered a couple of things in the past from this company and didn't have this kind of problem then, so I think there are issues with the business. Scotts (2023) and Woolovers are involved with this company now, who I have always thought were reliable businesses, but things seem pretty chaotic.

Returned an item 9th Oct 2023 to Expert verdict for a refund £24.96. Phoned the company 26/10/2023 & they confirmed they had received it & a refund was going to be sent to me. Terrible company
Terrible company! Appalling customer service! Ordered a cutlery set for my elderly neighbour living with terminal cancer and received a roll of tape instead with the value the fraction of what was really ordered. Enclosed in the parcel was an invoice with all the correct product information on. Despite multiple attempts to contact via email all of which were ignored and being left on hold for 10 minutes whist paying 7p a minute for the call I have given up and accepted my loss! I will never ever order from this company again! I am disgusted that a company who targets the elderly and vulnerable do not take more time for customer service!
