Not impressed

Deceased estate went from three people to one. I was paying around $600-$800 per quarterly for a one-person Houshold, living in the dark. This seemed fishy so I changed to another provider. Low and behold, it was $250 per quarterly, twice now. I saw the meter reader attend, but I suspect they just go by estimates.

I got a call from 1st energy about their company, they got my details but I didn't sign up for anything, next thing I got a message welcoming me to the company so I got in contact with them to stop but they said they would call me back, never got back to me, rang my provider to stop them, don't give your details to them,

This company will over charge you and…

This company will over charge you and use estimated bills rather than actual reads. This company also charged me full rate during 2022 Floods, when I had turned power off before evacuation and wasn't able to get home for 4 months. Will never go with this mob. Be careful dealing with this company and make sure you compare your meter to what they are charging x
