Bit of a hassle with kind of happy ending

Let me say it was emotional. I have purchased the bike on the website, it took around 9 days for it to be dispatched which is OK as per the policy bikes can take up to 10 days. The problem was how the bike was packaged by the shop for transport and how the package was handled by DPD. Shame I can't attache the photos. Bike was not secured in the box, the frame was wrapped with the bubble wrap but the bike was literally wobble in the box from side to side. DPD delivered the package in terrible state. Bike was delivered with badly bent rear disc brake, badly bent derailleur hanger, both wheels needed to be true and there was scratch on the headstock, definitely not what you expect spending over 1k for bike. Shop was kind enough and asked me to take the bike to my local bike shop repair it and send them the bill, that is exactly what I did £105 and almost two weeks later my bike was fixed. Tiso refunded me the money within 10 working days and gifted me £40 voucher for their ship in form of apology which I appreciate. Sarah from customer service was very helpful and stayed in communication throughout the whole process, thank you Sarah. Will I use the shop again Yes of course, will I buy from this shop another bike No unfortunately I won't take that risk again, as a friendly advise for them, please change the way you send your bike for shipping I would prefer and probably most people for the bike to be sent in original box, more assembly is required but all the components are much better protected. Bike I went for was Orbea Laufey H10 and I must say I love the bike, smooth, light, quite nimble.

Time taken to deliver goods

Time taken to deliver goods, very poor. Ordered items from Amazon later the same day I placed order with Tiso, Amazon arrived within 24 hours, Tiso took over 6 days! Received updates about delivery from Tiso and DPD which were confusing and unhelpful.

Out of stock then sourced from a store on request for notice of restocking.

Item that was out of stock online in required size was sourced from a store, although it took some time - it was exactly what I wanted - only problem was store security tag was still attached in receipt requiring an otherwise unnecessary trip to another Tiso store to have it removed. (Also had to look at manufacturers own website for correct size guidance).

Knowledgable staff

Staff are always knowledgable and helpful. I always buy my outdoors gear from Tiso for that reason.
