Very limited choice of courses

I was really disappointed with program as I've heard lots of positive reviews from my peers and how it helped them with applications for Uni, but my experience was not that bright as there was not only no my choice of University but neither the qualification that I'm planing to do in future - Journalism, there are lots of others courses like Jewish studies but nothing about Journalism.

My mentor has been amazing

My mentor has been amazing, very useful during application season and helped me buff my statements - we did go back quite a lot back and forth but eventually, I got a personal statement which was accepted by 5/5 universities

Incredible mentor!!

I am a student from the IOM aiming to study music at university. I believe I wouldn't have received an offer from Cambridge without Zero Gravity, as I had little help from my school. Everyone on the forums was friendly and I picked up many tips to strengthen my application and understand what life might be like as a state school student at a top university from reading replies. My mentor was incredibly helpful when it came to my personal statement, as I’d written it more extra-curricular than super-curricular and she gave me detailed advice on how to fix this. She then gave me extensive interview prep; we called twice a week and did mock interviews each time, looking at articles and scores, so that when it came to my interview I felt confident having answered similar questions before and having had the opportunity to act upon my mentor’s feedback.

I am student in sixth form with a huge appetite for learning. Zero Gravity has helped me to get closer to this vision, easing the mazes of the application process and given me a lot information I would otherwise not have had. Ellis has been amazing at preparing me for admission tests, personal statements and interviews - and what I am most grateful for is the reassurances he was able to give me. I really appreciate how Zero Gravity has been able to connect a "first in family to go to university" to someone who is academia, from meeting with my mentor to Yusuf Ben Tariffe's Medical Webinars.

Zero Gravity Saved My Grades

I am a dedicated student passionate about pursuing higher education, and Zero Gravity has played a pivotal role in my journey. With their support, I attended masterclasses that clarified the application process and honed my personal statement skills. My mentor, Bobby, was instrumental in my success. He provided invaluable assistance with my LNAT admissions tests and shared his own experiences with rejection from Oxford University, reassuring me that rejection can be a redirection. Bobby’s guidance in crafting an outstanding UCAS personal statement was crucial, ultimately helping me secure an offer from the London School of Economics. Beyond academics, he offered personal advice on student life and the challenges of living away from home, which greatly eased my anxieties. Zero Gravity and Bobby’s mentorship have been transformative, empowering me to navigate the complexities of higher education confidently.

Originally I struggled with confidence…

Originally I struggled with confidence which affected my grades a lot. My mentor changed the way I saw my academic work and the world around me. I am not a person who seeks opportunities with minimal fear because my mentor taught me it’s okay to be scared but doing things scared allows you to move forward in life.

Zero gravity

Zero gravity, thanks to all the online calls with different people, gave me an insight on what uni life is like, and busted any myths and worries I had about university. My desired career involves medicine, and thanks to my mentor I could confirm that is the right course for me, and that is what I want do in life, thanks to her being honest about any struggles I will face, and by exposing me to many cases which just deepened my interest in the subject. Zero Gravity was an essential tool for me to help me get through the application process by providing me with essential information. I am very grateful for this platform as it definitely was one of the main factors to get me my university offers.

Amazing platform for social mobility

As a student balancing competitive athletics and study, I have found the support system provided by Zero Gravity an invaluable tool. My mentor Anna and I collaborated on a revision timetable that ensured rest and flexibility, whilst her own interview experiences equipped me with skills contributing to my successful Oxford interview. Connecting with English undergraduates has enhanced my passion for both political poetry and the Romantics, whilst webinars from Oxford professors highlighted the importance of passion and concision in my Personal Statement. The generosity of members giving detailed advice on specific genres and many recommended ‘In our Time’ Podcasts also informed my EPQ research, leading me to an A*. My interest in journalism and role as editor of my school newspaper have also been supported, with recommended online workshops now a strength of my CV, as well my legal work experience at Old Square Chambers.

Zero gravity was a crucial part to my uni application

Zero gravity has been a crucial part to my journey into applying to university. The community pages and master classes offered infinite resources and information about university that aided me in making an educated choice in what direction I want to go in, in terms of universities. My mentor was also an essential part in this journey; the mentoring sessions aided me further in making this educated choice. Furthermore, the sessions and my amazing mentor helped in writing my personal statement, a piece of writing I am incredibly proud of and was praised by my teachers and those reading my university application.
