Zero gravity is amazing. My school hadn’t really given us much information or support in applying to universities and I didn’t know anything about the process. I was matched with a mentor doing my top choice course really quickly and she has been incredible. She’s put in loads of effort to help me and I feel a lot more confident in being ambitious about where I want to go now. The community and masterclasses are also great for answering specific questions

I had a very positive experience with Zero gravity and my mentor helped me so much throughout my application process for medical school. My mentor guided me through the admissions tests I had to do and gave me valuable advice. He also helped me to polish my personal statement and practice for my interview. The Zero gravity masterclasses helped me so much even though I was only able to attend one which was a biology one. I learnt so much from that masterclass and I have begun to apply it to writing my biology essays for my exams.

Zero gravity has saved my grades. My mentor is very caring and hard working, he puts in a lot of work for me in each session and i’m grateful for all of it. Solid 5 stars!

Ever since Year 10 I really began thinking of applying to Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities, but as I come from a background where not many people aspire for top universities and as a young black woman from a low income household, I was unsure as to whether top universities were within reach for me. When I heard about Zero Gravity from a former student at my school who also used Zero Gravity, I thought it would be really helpful in making my dream of attending the University of Oxford possible. My experience with Zero Gravity has been absolutely amazing and the support that I have received from my mentor has been indispensable. My mentor and I had bi-weekly sessions from September onward which were so helpful to me during the admissions process to Oxford as my mentor helped me with my personal statement, the admissions test and the interviews. I think that without Zero Gravity, I would not have been able to handle the pressure of the admissions process as it increased my own self confidence during the process as my mentor consistently believed in me and my ability to do well even when I doubted myself. My mentor also answered any questions I had about the social aspects of university which shows how Zero Gravity was not just about developing my academic skills but also about my mentor helping me with any questions or issues I had outside of university applications, A Levels and academia.

I am an avid animal lover, a book devourer, and competitive netball with a passion for helping people by treating their beloved pets, by becoming a vet. Zero Gravity has been absolutely crucial in helping me successfully apply to study the vet sought out veterinary medicine course at university; I have enjoyed engaging with peers in similar situations as myself through the zero gravity community and have especially benefited from the guidance my mentor has given me. My mentor not only boosted my confidence through the application process by practising interview skills, but also gave me much needed advice and support whilst I assembled my personal statement. With her help I have been overjoyed to receive three offers from different universities and I am so excited to turning my dream of being a vet, into reality which truly couldn’t have happened with Zero Gravity

The degree I am applying to is not taught before university, and before using Zero Gravity I had little knowledge on where to start my super-curricular knowledge. With using Zero Gravity and having an engaged, focused and easily accessible mentor I was able to build up my knowledge on International Relations quickly and form my first draft of my personal statement. Since then, my mentor and I edited and built on my knowledge and skills to produce a first class personal statement - where I received 3 of my offers only 72 hours after sending off my application. With Zero Gravity, I have also had access to webinars and lessons, in addition with the support from my mentor, that has built my analytical skills which has been extremely beneficial to me, as I have seen substantial improvements in the grade of one of my a levels. I am the first person in my immediate family to attain successful GCSEs never mind high a level grades and university, and having Zero Gravity as a support bubble for me has been extremely helpful considering I have been unable to obtain that support at home. I can say without a doubt that without the help from Zero Gravity and my personalised mentor I would be in an extremely different place now when it comes to my degree and university applications.
