I didn’t purchase but had a guy come to my door yesterday in North Temple who was crazy pushy. Your sales people need training… BAD. I have a video from my ring camera if your company wants to see it.

The local team completed all work on schedule but then failed to provide inspection information to the city, clean up the work site, or return my phone calls, text messages, and emails. After contacting corporate the local crew cleaned up their remnants but it has now been 7 weeks. My system still isn't active and no one will give me any indication on when or how they will finish this install. In the meantime the financing team has been informed all work was competed, so I am expected to begin making payments while still paying a full electric bill! I have already told several people in town and at work to avoid Glyde.

Installing solar panels is a complex process, but Glyde Solar did a very good job from start to finish. They were very thorough in explaining all aspects of the project: technical, tax impact, financing, installation, expectations of energy production, permits, etc. Each step of the way was communicated well, and completed when promised.

Glyde Solar installed 23 solar panels on my roof. The install staff was great. When their team left. It started generating power immediately and once we flipped the switch we were in business. I would definitely recommend them if you are thinking about solar

Just be very aware of the way these guy do business, also read some of the other reviews (the 5* ones are very generic!!!) My experience… the first step is to get your finance approved, once they have this, out comes the installation contract, “don’t worry about a scope of work we will do an in-depth survey later”. It turns out that once you have agreed finance and signed permission for the project to start, 3 days and the cancellation period finishes, then comes the actual survey and and then final scope of work, that seams backwards to me! (What do you think?) I hit the breaks after the “credit check” that turned out to be a pre-approval for $120,000, Once this was signed (and I never got a copy) they pushed for me to sign the installation contract! (Strange) They “promised” me that they would do no work until the survey was complete and I was 100% happy with everything to start. Looking back if I had signed the document I was on the hook for up to 120k of equipment to be installed on my roof, at my cost and at their pleasure! Maybe it is just the way I look at the world, but it made me feel a little uncomfortable and still I have not got a copy if 120K finance agreement that I signed! I’m just glad I only let these guys in my kitchen and not on my roof. Interestingly when I contacted the finance company (Dividend) to cancel the agreement, they did not even ask why?

Amazing company! Our rep was great! He answered all our questions, made us feel comfortable and even hooked us up with new energy efficient light bulbs and Nest Thermostat. The project manager was awesome at keeping us informed and install couldn't have gone better. I'm so happy that we chose Glyde Solar.

The whole team at Glyde Solar did an all-around excellent job! They showed up on time as expected and communicated everything very clearly on what I can expect to see and happen. They were all very professional and courteous throughout the entire process. I am already seeing much lower electric bills. Great people. Excellent service. Committed to installing high quality solar in the city. They know how to get resi solar done in this complicated market. Watching the install crew on my roof was like watching a ballet.

Terrible experience. The worst salesman and they left my roof a total nightmare. I wish they would take it all away or at least fix my roof that they destroyed.

Terrible so far. Our salesperson is non-responsive since our panels were installed. They still have not been inspected and are not up and running and we had them installed over a month ago. We we're promised an energy package to help with keeping our house cool in the summer as well and that hasn't been done yet either. It's now June, 90 degrees, and we started this process before Thanksgiving. We cannot seem to get a hold of anyone at this company. Anytime I call, I am always sent to a voicemail, even during normal business hours. What a racket.
