Each and everyone who has attended to work at my parents property have been very polite, friendly and all the work was completed in a very professional manner. The installation was not a very straight forward job for GSL to complete due to no fault of their own. But they have gone above and beyond to ensure it was completed properly for my parents. I can honestly say GSL is a great company to deal with, a rarity today! GSL have some really great staff working for them! Special thanks to Elliott, Rico, Ethan, Kieran, Reece and TJ, Drew, John. Thanks to the roof insulation and asbestos removal guys, sorry I have misplaced their names. Also great help at the end of the phone from the office staff James Amy and Keeley. Regarding Solar PV panels, I had a visit from GSL surveyor Matt C on Oct 24th. As well as being a nice chap, he was professional and knowledgeable and performed the survey very efficiently. All bides well for my solar installation.

GSL recently installed my solar PV system: 11 solar panels, an inverter and a 5.4 kWh battery. This was a complex process involving lots of options, a site visit to check what was needed, a sub contractor installing scaffolding and a confusing process to convince my electricity supplier to pay me for energy going back to the grid, but throughout the process GSL were incredibly helpful, amazingly quick to respond to email queries, and infinitely patient when explaining things that they must have had to explain a thousand times before. I am very pleased with the whole process, and I've ended up with a system that's pretty much ideal for my property which looks like it will pay for itself even quicker than expected. There was no annoying pressure selling of upgrades - in fact the quote went down when the survey found my EV charger installer had left a spare circuit in case I ever got solar! The installation team were fast, efficient and polite, and cleaned up after themselves decently. Definitely 5 stars overall. If I had to make a suggestion for improving things, a bit more hand-holding through the messy process of getting on to a SEG tariff (which you need to get paid for electricity sent from the solar panels to the grid) would have been nice. My electricity supplier demanded a DNO letter, MCS number and an acceptable system diagram and of course I had no idea what any of those things were. It's not GSL's fault that my electricity supplier failed to explain anything clearly (so no danger of any stars knocked off) but if GSL wanted to go even further above and beyond they might consider adding some 'how to get on a SEG tariff from EoN/Octopus/etc.' advice to their hand-over pack.

It was a good experience. Every step of the installation went well. There were very competent installers at each stage and were friendly and helpful throughout.

We recently had a heat pump and solar panels installed and even though the job created a lot of upheaval in the house, so far all working well. All the trades, plasterers Leon and Jack. Plumbers, Gary and Martin, Electricians Nile and Owen. Simon carpenter and Rick plus any I may have missed worked hard and were all very pleasant and helpful. Even the girls in the office were very attentive and polite. We would happily recommend Grant Store.

Very helpfully team of installers, no mess to speak of,well organised and on time each day, I was dreading the install but it went like clockwork and finished on time, I'm very pleased with the outcome a great team.
