Mr Dave Joyce was the man that came to…

Mr Dave Joyce was the man that came to my house today.He was very professional in all ways possible,explaining everything in great detail of what would happen when heating is installed. He advised us on the best places for the radiators and boiler to be fitted .He was very polite and answered all our questions .in terms we could understand.All round very nice person.

Excellent Service & Competitive Pricing

A fantastic experience using GSL from the initial surveys to installation. Very importantly, GSL spent a lot of time talking to us about the solar panel configuration on our roofs as it wasn’t straightforward- we had two surveys & they delivered an excellent proposal which we took forward. During the installation, we had a few ‘hiccups’ but the measure of a good customer-centric company is how well they resolve issues & GSL were excellent! Special mention to Lorraine in the office - her customer service was outstanding! Also thanks to Zoe (office) & Martin (electrician) who also delivered fantastic customer service. I would DEFINITELY recommend GSL 👍

Install went well scaffolding is still here

Install went well, installers appear to have done a good job and were very helpful. Unfortunately 2 weeks later scaffolding is still up and I don’t have a date it will be removed and it’s partially blocking the drive. Grant store need to realise this has resulted in a negative review

Install ok, customer service not so great.

We had 8 panels and a 5kwh battery installed by the Grant Store. The good: -Good value for money for what we had. -Scaffold, panel and electrical installation were all done by different people over a number of days. All the guys I met were friendly and hard working and left the place in a clean condition. Not so good -We were left with virtually no information on how the system runs or what the software was telling us. -Because of the above I wasn't sure if something was wrong when we were exporting all of pur solar generation. -I phoned them to get some help. The people I spoke to on the phone were polite but weren't technical. Every single time I rang, and a had to ring a lot, the technical team were in meetings or on a call. Despite being told they would call me back each time it was only on the fourth day of trying that I actually got a call back (but not from someone technical) to tell me there was in fact a problem and they'd send someone out. At this point, the original electrician came out and fixed the problem with incorrect wiring. He was very apologetic. Overall, I cannot recommend The Grant Store until they improve their aftersales. The software supplied (fox) is not great which isn't Grant Stores fault but it means that people will probably need help understanding what's going on. It's not acceptable to not be able to discuss potential issues. On the positive side, I do now have a working solar setup that will significantly reduce my electricity bills for years to come.

First class response from the HQ…

First class response from the HQ particularly Zoe who went out of her way to keep us informed, chase up the fitting team and much more. The team that fitted the panels the electrician who made a great job of wiring and connecting everything together. Great work and well done team.
