Ordered the filets and lobster tails. The meat was juicy and I would definitely say they are the best steak company I've ordered from.

I don't usually write reviews but Chicago Steak Company has some of the most terrible customer service I've seen in years. They will actually ignore your emails and contact you after just having been communicating with you. I noticed dozens of customers with that complaint but I figured let me give them the benefit here... Wrong... They are a 1-star company. Sorry to say.
Chicago Steak Company Turned it Around!!!
3/3/21 UPDATED REVIEW!!! I have to say that Chicago Steak Company really turned things around for us! They cancelled the old order and overnighted a new order for our son. Our son and his roommates loved the steaks and cheesecake!! Well done Chicago Steak Company!!! Very unhappy with the customer service. Placed my order on 2/18. Order has been in transit for over 7 days now. When I contacted them with my concerns regarding the safety of the steaks, ground beef, cheese cakes and mac/cheese, they told me that they would call me back. Called twice with no response to my concerns about the food safety. Will now have to tell my son to throw out almost $300 worth of food when it finally arrives. It's truly criminal! I was originally hoping to do a subscription and would have done so if they responded appropriately. Terrible service!!!
Terrible Customer Service
Placed an order to give as a gift for Christmas. Was told it would arrive by Dec. 17. Finally received the box on the 19th. The meat was thawed out and the boxes were bloodied. Tried repeatedly by phone and email to reach someone without success. When I did got to talk to someone I asked if I should send back the meat - it had already sat in the styrofoam box for a week and was smelly. They told me to just take photos and send them and that I could throw out the meat which I did. I was told they were going to refund my money and send me a gift certificate as a consolation. I disputed the charge (126.00) with my credit card company and just received response telling me the merchant is not refunding my money. This is absurd! After all that aggravation I have gotten no satisfaction. What a horrible experience. Would never recommend or order from this company again. order #100127799.

Definitely would not recommend
Ordered two packages. One for myself and another as a gift. Both were to contain an assortment of items including Filets and Chicken Breasts. Neither delivery contained those items as advertised. Steaks were stringy and chewy and ribeyes contained large chunks of fat. Burgers were fine but at these prices I can get good burgers anywhere.

I wanted to give a rating of zero stars but did not have that availability. I ordered steaks as a Christmas gift and was given a delivery date of 12/18/20. The order did not arrive, I was not given a tracking number for my order and the website tells me my steaks are being cut - for the last several days. Customer Service Associates are polite but still no results. I would never suggest this is a reputable company. I have spent close to $150 with no satisfaction. My purchase of a gift has turned into a huge burden with trying to follow up with a viable response. My elderly father has been waiting and waiting for his gift and concerned that the steaks would not be useable if they ever arrive. This is shameful.

Worst experience ever. Was supposed to be delivered as a gift on Dec 18th. Didn't get shipped or delivered. I asked for a refund and to cancel the order several times, and instead, they shipped it today after I specifically told them DO NOT SHIP THIS - cancel the order . That does no good as the party they were to deliver to was there on the 18th (the day delivery was scheduled). They are not there now. Customer service is virtually non-existent. They hang up on you if you try to call the support number - and that number is someone offshore. They don't answer FB chat or e-mails. I have filed a claim with PayPal (for what good that will do).
