Great price and quality

First time customer as I was looking for motorized shades for our living room. Great selection and options and ordering their sample pack of fabrics was extremely helpful before ordering. Suggest that others do the same as it worth the small investment prior to making a decision on color and fabric etc.

Delivery was surprisingly quick (around 1 week) for custom made shades being shipped from China. Shades worked perfectly and were easy to install. I took off one star due to a very short section of the cassette being bent. It isn't noticeable to the casual observer, but an owner would see it. I didn't consider it worth the hassle of getting the defect fixed as it was minor. The other thing is if the solar cord drops down and happens to catch the edge of the blinds. This causes the shade to bunch up and go back up into the roller. Not difficult to fix due to quality of the parts, but worrisome. Just tell customers to securely fix the charging cable such that it can't drop down. I have the z-wave motor and as with most Z-wave devices it is easy to pair up with home automation systems (tried both Homeseer and Smart Things) and worked reliably in both.

Purchase experience of the blinds was very organized and efficient. Continued communications from Smartwings lessened any worries or doubt on delivery. I felt very safe with this purchase and plan on ordering more products.

Overall very, very satisfied with the product. Plenty of pros, so I'll start with the cons Cons: - Pretty complicated to program and connect with alexa and control via voice control, but once you get the hang of it, it works well. - Zigbee connection gets lost every here and there, so the connection. To alexa stops working and you have to reprogram it. It gets frustrating, sometimes happens daily, and somehow when we have a short power outage, a couple get disconnected. - The range for the zigbee alexa and the shades is pretty poor. We ended up.needing to get another alexa device to make them work in our home. Everything else about the product is AMAZING Pros: - well priced item and great quality, very chic, I'm extremely proud of these shades - customer service is phenomenal. If you have any troubles, they are very customer oriented so you will never feel scammed. Very respectful and patient with you.. Do ask for the programming manual, it actually is pretty helpful - Once you get the hang of it, you can program them to do just about anything... We have them close 15 minutes before sunset and open at sunrise, and have commands to raise/lower to 50%, etc. Incredible. We don't touch a single shade ever, first world problems I know. - shipping and ordering process excellent - black out and 70% shades are what we went with, don't regret it at all. - remote controls work great, although we only needed them for programming. Good backup incase there's a power outage.

A love hate relationship with the blinds. The features and programmable options are great. However, one blind refuses to stay connected. The dual shades for our bedroom have massive gaps and let in a lot of light. We wanted it to block a streetlight but it fails to meet that goal.
