The Engineer [Gary] installed and tested the gas hob we purchased within reasonable time. Also rang us before showing up. He also cleaned the area and collected the used items for disposal. The young chap who came to install the hood also did a good job and requested us to test it before he [Dan] left. The only issue was at the start in their office they were trying to send both installers at two different days! But with the intervention of Franco that was sorted!

Stuart identified the problem with our rangemaster oven which was making the electrics trip out randomly, following thorough electrical tests. New elements were identified in the grill, ordered and fitted without fuss around a week later.

I needed spare drawer fronts for my freezer. Marius was able to source them and ordered them. One of the parts was being delayed so Marius found it available from a different supplier. The parts have now been delivered and fit perfectly. I was kept informed of the status of my order on a regular basis. A very good, knowledgeable and friendly service.

Very disappointing

Very disappointing. Booked a repair for my washing machine, giving details of spare part to be substitued. Surprisingly the engineer did not know what needed doing did not have the spare part required and the company could not source it for at least a week. They blamed import duties etc. If you cannot handle the new environment I suggest you rethink your business model and more importantly put your house in order and not waste precious customer time.

Super helpful service!

Really impressed with Capital's standard of service. Great at answering the phone, friendly and efficient at dealing with your enquiries. Stuart, who came to fix our oven, was super helpful and did a great job of explaining the work he'd carried out and was clearly very thorough as well. He was happy to answer all my questions and very kindly gave advice on our dodgy fridge which was hugely appreciated. Would highly recommend the team here!

Great Service, delivered more than expected

Stuart provided a great service and helped us remove the need for significant further efforts/complaints with our oven supplier. After following the manufacturer guidance over 2 visits (and unfortunately still not fixing the problem) we were advised to go back to the supplier as a last resort. But a day later, Stuart came back with a new idea and thankfully fixed an issue that had been bugging us for many weeks. His extra effort wasn't expected so a big thanks to him for going that bit further to help us out.

Delighted - Capital repairs stuck with the problem and fixed it

Capital repairs stuck with the problem, where others may have given up, and I am absolutely delighted that they managed to fix the gas hob on our Falcon range by sending out Gary. In the course of fitting some replacement parts e.g. a couple of new electrodes for lighting the gas, a bigger issue of a corroded bolt on the central burner was found requiring a specialist engineer. I understand repairers will often right-off a cooker with this problem. However Gary was able to angle grind the old bolt off before then fixing the hob, saving the me thousands on a new range and avoiding throwing out a perfectly fine range. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the month long waits for parts and engineer availability for previous 2 engineer visits, before Gary was sent for the last visit.
