We have been plagued by nesting pigeons since before the Covid lockdown. This plague is a repeat of the same from last spring and summer. Having obtained a number of quotes from various companies I chose British Bird Control because their galvanised mesh product looked superior to others. Their service was efficient and swift. 2 pigeons made their way under my solar panels during lockdown and they have driven me berserk, I contemplated climbing on the roof and wringing their necks but as a 50year old female thought it was best to seek out a professional instead. Get onto these guys if you have this problem, those feathered flockers won’t leave of their own accord. The team that fitted our bird spike controls were fast and efficient with a "no problem" attitude. They were a credit to British Bird Control. Delighted with the work recently done by this company in deterring pigeons from nestling on my roof. It appears to be very successful. We originally had a pair of "handymen" put up some wire mesh which the pigeons just pushed aside within 2 days so we then asked British Bird Control to install proper Mesh. There was a wait and by the time they arrived, at least one brood had emerged from under our Solar Panels. The Team cleared out all the mess from under the panels, installed a very strong mesh and cleaned away all the nest debris from the gutters. For 3 days various pigeons tried to push through the new Mesh without success and the main group of pigeons had gone within 5 days. Two young ones, probably from the nest under our panels, took 14 days to leave the roof. Now we get the occasional short visits but they never stay long. It is noticeable that we now have a significant increase in the number of smaller birds, Robin, Wren, Sparrow, and Blackbird in our garden.

Efficient company - they booked a date and kept to it. They sent two very agreeable young men who set to and pigeon-proofed our solar panels at some height on the roof - no fuss, got the job done (three days on there is no sign of the pigeons) and were pleasant company while they were here.
