British Bird Control is a wonderful example of a company which takes a customer-centric approach to how to do business. I have had regular communication with Gareth from the initial quotation right through to aftersales. He has always responded quickly, thoroughly and with a professional touch. When an issue was raised, he could not have been more helpful in sending his team around the next morning to inspect the solar panels. Overall, the completed job is to a good standard and our pigeon problem will hopefully be in the past.

I emailed an enquiry to British bird control about pigeon proofing my solar panels ( dont have panels without having them pigeon proofed!!!) and had a comprehensive response within 24 hours. The process was fully explained and a quote given. Having looked at the significant number of positive reviews I emailed back to book. The company rang back very quickly and a deposit was paid. It was explained that there was about 4 weeks lead time. I was happy with that but only a day or so later I was contacted and asked if they could come later that day. Apparently it was too windy to do some properties but mine was a bungalow and they thought they might be able to do the work safely. It was explained that they would conduct an on site safety assessment and would not proceed unless it was safe. Well, the company turned up as promised and was able to do the work. They were polite efficient and completed the job quickly, explained the payment would be taken shortly and all about what they'd done and about the guarantee. I’m very well satisfied with this company. They have done what they said they could, the job is neat and looks very well done, they cleared out my gutters and I am happy. I can recommend them.

We asked for an early appointment, before eggs were laid, and British Bird Control found us a slot a few days later. The team turned up on time, reached our (high) roof with ladders, cleaned out the debris and installed the mesh. They cleaned up and were finished in 90 minutes, conducting themselves throughout with courtesy and competence. The 10-year warranty arrived the following day. Altogether a very satisfactory experience. We approached BBC after a recommendation from a neighbour, and would have no hesitation in recommending them ourselves.

The team arrived early, were very competent, kept off the garden as requested, and completed the job with no problems. Pigeons seem to be getting the message that they have been evicted. They are still around, but I understand that as soon as the females are "in egg", they will go to find somewhere else under cover, and the males will follow!

We have had solar panels for around 4 years, and every year we have a problem with pigeons nesting underneath them so we contacted the BBC for a solution. Today we had 2 guys come around and fit mesh around the outside of the panels. The guys were really polite, courteous, very tidy, and have done an excellent job. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Can’t recommend British Bird Control enough. They were excellent from initial contact and the lads who came out to pigeon proof our solar panels were professional and friendly. It’s now a couple of days since they’ve been and other than a few pigeons on the roof trying to work how to get under the panels, they’ve gone and hopefully I’ll be able to have a pigeon-noise free lie in at the weekend :-)

After contacting several potential service providers I chose British Bird Control based on their speed of response, the full explanation of their service in writing, the quotation received and their website content on this task. The two man crew arrived as arranged promptly and completed the task in a courteous, informative and friendly approach. A skilled tradesman makes his task look simple and the whole job took less than 90 minutes. Now some may question the value of spending the sum involved for such a 'quick job'? My opinion is the crew worked like a well oiled machine, both gentlemen working as if one were the right hand and the other the left in synchronisation with each other. It looked easy because they clearly knew what they were doing and moved around 'at height' as if they were stood on the ground....a skill its its own right. Nothing was too much trouble, they checked the area beneath the panels and applied a biocide treatment while ensuring the protection grills were following the ridges in the tiled roof. The doves have tested the fitting today (the day after) by patrolling all around the panels trying to find an access point, but with no joy! A comprehensive job done well.

Brilliant service and good value. From the moment I made email contact right the way through to completion, BBC were professional, polite and did a great job at pigeon proofing my solar panels. Unlike other companies I approached, they did not need scaffolding, thereby saving on cost. Lewis and his partner were the engineers who did the work. They called me in the morning to inform me off their time of arrival and although I was self-isolating on the day, got to work without fuss, even though my panels were right up to the apex of the roof, they used their climbing gear to complete the work to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, they weren't able to take pictures of the work as they deemed it too dangerous, but that's understandable given the height at which they were working (we live in a 3 storey property) and the fact that they had to use ropes for part of the work. As for the pigeons, it's been nearly two weeks and I still have a few that sit around the panels, but not as many as there once was. I am hoping that they will nest elsewhere once they finally realise that they can't nest under the panels any more. Would happily recommend BBC for pigeon proofing solar panels.
