Zero stars but that is not an option

Zero stars but that is not an option. Absolutely insulting offer on a high quality 1/2 carat diamond engament ring set in white gold. This company is a scam. I best get my ring back quickly and in meticulous shape as I will be taking it back to my local appraiser to be sure none of the stones were switched out. I’d rather give this set to some young couple who can’t afford much than accept this ridiculous amount. Don’t use this company.

Horrible experience!

To be honest, not the best experience with this company. The advertising is not 100% guaranteed like it says. I’ve gotten nothing but the run around after accepting the second offer because the first offer was insulting and after telling them that they offered double plus the second time around. The process of sending my items was the only stress free part. Everything afterwards was not. Online it say payment can be in all of these different forms yet when I asked for direct deposit I was told I only had two options: check in the mail which would take 3 days and PayPal. But, on the website it said: Choose from instant payment options: direct deposit, PayPal, virtual credit card, print-at-home check, or check via USPS or FedEx. After the 3 days I call and email just to be told it would take up to 10 business days. (And the responses were confusing because I sent my items through Diamonds USA but then someone from CashforGold was responding to me.) The business days pass and the check is still not here. Now I’m finally offered an expedited refund. The run around was exhausting and I will NOT be recommending this company to anyone else. I just hope I actually get what was promised to me.

STAY CLEAR!@

Stay clear!! I went to a local jeweler prior to sending my ring in to this company and was offered almost $2K. I was hoping for more, so I thought I would give this company a try. What a mistake!! They offered me under $200 dollars for the same piece. I rejected the offer NUMEROUS times and requested they return the ring ASAP. Instead, they continued emailing me to "negotiate" a higher offer. They only returned it after threatening them with legal action if the ring was not returned by a certain date. Don't waste your time!

This story is not finished but I sent…

This story is not finished but I sent DiamondsUSA 5 pieces of jewelry worth $8600 from the appraisal I personally had done on my jewelry. DiamondsUSA offered me $675.15!! I declined their offer of course. If I don’t get my jewelry back in the exact condition it was in when I sent it and as quickly as it was sent I’ll be contacting some of the people who left reviews describing similar experiences to start a class action lawsuit.

Sent my ring with a Total weight of 1/2…

Sent my ring with a Total weight of 1/2 carat with gold band. They didn't offer even $100 for it. Of course I didn't accept. From the other reviews they are worse than a pawn shop with their offers. Now I'm worried about getting my ring back in the condition I sent it.

PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!!! Contact me at 7173985144 if you've had to deal with something similar

I sent them a ring that I paid 2500 for, they offer me 165. I declined and asked for the ring back. I emailed them again about a month later asking about my shipment and they said that they would check with the return team. I emailed them again a day later with no response. I then called them and the guy who apparently is an owner offered me 500 for it and I just told them that I wanted it returned so he said he'd check with the return team. Didn't hear back from them again so I called a couple days later and a lady told me that a supervisor would be in touch with me shortly or on the following Monday. That obviously didn't happen so I called on Tuesday and spoke with some guy who said they're owner was on vacation for the week and would get back to me the following Monday and he offered me 400 for my ring. I told him that the previous guy I talked to said they'd offer 500 so idk where the 400 came from but that's besides the point I just want my ring back undamaged. I had to hang up on him because he was just talking nonsense and I was losing my patience. I call a bit later after I cool down and this time a customer service supervisor answer and was basically trying to tell me how cheap my ring was etc (all irrelevant information at this point since I just want my ring back) she tells me that I'll get a call that Wednesday, so I'm being told two different things in the same day. I realized before this point that this is a shady company but I don't understand why they tell the lies they do and beat around the bush. Now all these phone conversations happen more than a week ago, so even though I knew how they were I gave them some time to do their so called "Investigation". Now here we are today 1/18/24 and I called today and a lady said that the security team lead was in a meeting and would get back to me after. I think they close in 10 mins so that was clearly another lie. Btw I already know DiamondsUsa will respond with some bs excuse about how they're looking into it etc, don't waste your time I know it's another lie. I'm taking care of this and it will be taken care of, I'll either get my ring back or they'll refund me this is ridiculous and I just want anyone out there who reads this, even if it's just one person that I can save from this bs. PLEEEEAAASSSE !!!! DO NOT SEND YOUR JEWELRY OR ANYTHING OF THAT MATTER TO THIS COMPANY, THEY'LL EITHER OFFER YOU PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR AND IF YOU WANT YOUR RING BACK THEY'LL DELAY THE SHIPPING ACTING LIKE THEY CAN'T FIND IT OR NOT SEND IT BACK AT ALL WHICH I'VE SEEN IN SOME OF THESE REVIEWS. ITS NOT WORTH IT AND THESE 5 STAR REVIEWS THAT YOU SEE ARE PROBABLY JUST BOTS OR SHEEP THAT WORK FOR THE COMPANY.

Stolen or Lied to?

I got a horrible offer and requested my ring back. Two weeks later still not back. Called and they gave a runaround answer then a week later supposedly sent it back but I never got it. Then they said the fedex driver stole it and there was an investigation where I had to fill out papers for it. Did that after reading every word on it and that was weeks ago. Still no ring. I put the insurance claim in with them and nothing yet but was told it could take months!!! I’m livid.

I truly am at a loss for words to…

I truly am at a loss for words to describe how amazing the service was that I received from Amy!! I sent an item in for appraisal and then had a change of heart (for personal, sentimental reasons) so I called to see if was too late for my item to be returned. I reached Amy on the line and she went the EXTRA MILE to track down my item after it was close to leaving their facility. On top of that, she kept me apprised throughout the process with phone calls and regular updates as the item had been separated into more than one piece. After doing all of his, she had a geologist put everything back just like new and, again, Amy kept me informed with updates throughout the process. I just received my item returned to my home today and it was the best Christmas present I could imagine! I’m a customer service manager and I was truly BLOWN AWAY BY THE CARING, 100% ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM AMY!! Truly exceptional and rare, even, to find such a person in Amy willing to go through SO much to help me in a difficult situation! I really hope that her leadership team is able to receive this feedback because my experience was truly special and I will never forget it for the rest of my life. I am truly grateful, Amy!! Hats off to you for making me the most satisfied customer POSSIBLE! 1,000 star service on a 5 star scale!! 😁🙏👍

I do not recommend at all!!

Sent 3 rough stones via fed ex and they got in just 1 day! All 3 were intact pieces! Then i get email doesnt tell me anything about my "as they called them- valuables!" They offered me $1. Of course I declined and wanted the 3 fully "intact" stones to be returned to me. Next day got email asking me what amount might I be willing take and that they wanted work with me if possible. I declined even a response. They sent back my 3 stones via usps 4 days later. Only 2 were intact and 1 is broken into several pieces! When I asked if this was how they did business they only responded that my stones didn't contain any of the minerals they would be interested in! I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I didn't have to do so! They took no responsibility for breaking one my "valuables" into pieces! I recommend finding local experts instead of any place like this!
