Appalling company
Appalling company. Booked hotel via Nustay. Cancelled within 10 minutes and the hotel agreed that I should be refunded. Nustay tried first blaming the hotel, then their other 'suppliers', however Nustay took the money and have not refunded it. First, they tried giving different reasons, like they are awaiting their supplier coming back to them to confirm (I don't know why as the hotel had copied me in the email to them saying to refund and it's NUSTAY who have taken the money) and now they won't answer emails. They're phone lines tell you to email them. Three emails in a week have now been ignored. How Ironic that their website even states 'we're really quick to reply by email'. I also experienced an issue to begin with as the price jumped up as I clicked confirm, which I see other people have also experienced. With so many travel companies out there, PLEASE PLEASE use any bust Nustay.

Avoid at all costs. Pay more for actual service from known company
Absolute shambles of a company. Avoid at all costs. Don't usually write negative reviews about companies but a number of things went wrong with a simple booking that I would be very wary about people using in the future. To start off with, made a booking for July 31st, got confirmation email (for a booking at the Savoy in Manila), we got there only to find that Nustay had booked for 31st August (this is worrying point number 1- to have manual booking of systems that are not automated leads to these problems/you don't get with bigger companies) - we then spent 3 hours waiting for nustay to try and sort this out in the hotel lobby (they say they called and sent emails, reception deny any contact over this period) - finally we decided to just book another room (so made second booking) - so we ended up staying in the room from 0130 to 0630. Nustay refund the original booking but leave me still out of pocket for the second booking. We had a discussion with the hotel staff who informed us that Nustay is in fact a third party company that goes through another booking company prior to hotels, so if anything goes wrong (which reading prior reviews.. Seems to happen a lot) it takes very long to sort out (which is major issue number 2). The communication with nustay was very condescending--for a mistake made on their part they were happy to refund 4 euros and a 10% saving on the next booking (we will NOT be booking again with them). All in all, you get what you pay for. If you are going to a foreign country and want a peace of mind, I would pay a little extra and go with an established company like booking.com but if you are willing to wait for 3 hours in a foreign countries hotel lobby, to get 4 euros returned by booking with a 3rd party company that hotels itself do not recommend then go for it.

Doubled Price at Time of Booking
I tried this twice--I found a good price online, confirmed at Nustay's website, then the price doubled after I put in my credit card details. I thought it was still worth a try after reading some other similar reviews, but this is definitely a scam. Too bad. Regarding the "cached rates" argument, this should only be a problem the first time if ever. After the doubled price appears at time of booking, the cache on Nustay's end should be updated. However, a refresh still shows it's offering the same price prior to booking.
